Beef Stew VI

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2011
I intended to make this recipe exactly as it was written, but when I got the adding the rosemary part, I realized I was out, so I put tarragon in it instead and thought it turned out just great. First beef stew attempt. It was a little bit more liquid-y on the first day, but the second and third days of leftovers were a perfect consistency and was glad I didn't initially thicken it up based on the other reviews. I added a few sprinkles of tabasco (first day) and cholula (the second day) right as I eating it and it gave it a great kick. I will try it with the intended rosemary the next time and compare.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2011
I have made this recipe about 5 times and based on the previous reviews, I have always left out the salt. I forgot this last time and I could barely eat it. I started making this recipe before I had ever tried it in any restaurant and when I finally did try a "professional" version, I was happily surprised at how excellent this recipe is. I think the heat is just right. I usually order mine at a medium and this has just the right kick for me. So, this is a 5 star recipe (if you leave out the salt, or just stick to "salt to taste")!

Special Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2007
I am amongst the loved it group. I made these for a potluck at work and everyone dug on them. I followed the recipe how it was written and took the advice of draining off a little of the relish juice. I left out the salt and pepper. Going to keep this recipe around!

Peachy Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 6, 2007
I followed the advice of one review and added soy sauce and garlic. My husband loved it and he hates peaches. I used a quart jar of home canned peaches in light syrup. It was a hit and now will be a standard recipe in my house.

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

I adore this soup! I look forward to the cold weather and make it all of time. It freezes really well too. I recommed it to anyone! It's also good with a dollop of sour cream
