Pecan Pie V

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2012
Amazing! I have never attempted a pecan pie before and I could this recipe easy. I made it for a friend who loves pecan pie (and is picky about them) and he loved this one compared to syrup ones. The only problem I had was the pecans that I placed on top kind of sunk..So that was user error. I guess next time I would bake a bit and then place the pecans to prevent sinking.

I am chalking this poor experience up to user error. It just came out kind of bland.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2011
Simple yet very tasty! Like other users I browned before baking. Because I didn't have traditional ham I used proscuitto. While the sauce was fine, I guess I didn't find it necessary for the dish. I will make this dish again.

Spanish-Style Quinoa

Made as directed. Found this to be very bland. Very few people ate it at my Mexican themed dinner party.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Easy..Used leftovers from a rotissere chicken. I would've liked it a bit more spicy...

Banana Banana Bread

Good..but more dense than what I prefer. Used whole wheat flour and added walnuts for some crunch.

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Awesome and Easy! I did make a few changes. I used boneless/skinless chicken breasts and used only 1 tablespoon mayo to coat each. I also used poutry seasoning instead of thyme & a little cayenne pepper instead of paprika. Added a little onion powder. Have made this a few times and it always turns out great! Thanks

Amazing! Made this at Thanksgiving time last year..1/2 muffins, 1/2 in bread form. Topped the muffins with some cream cheese frosting for a treat!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

We love this chicken! So easy to marinate it the night before and grill the next day. Perfectly moist every time and goes well with so many sides!

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2008
We loved this recipe! We used a pork roast & Sweet baby Ray's BBQ sauce and it turned out so tender. A 2 pound roast made about 12 sandwhichs for us. The best part was that it was so easy and had virtually no clean up using the slow cooker bags! Will be making again frequently.

Restaurant-Style Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2005
Great soup..However after making it a few times I have learned a couple things. Adding some dried crushed red pepper flakes gives it more of a kick similar to olive garden's. Secondly to keep the broth that nice white color, after cooking bacon and sausage rinse them off well with water to drain off oils/fats which create a funky orange color in your broth.
