I fixed this as a single layer sheet cake for my husband's birthday, topped with cool whip and accompanied by a raspberry reduction sauce. I used Duncan Heinz Devils Cake mix. It was so good that my husband is still talking about it weeks later. We still have some in the fridge and he returns to it raving about how it has kept moist and is the best birthday cake anyone has ever made him in 30 years, "and many people have tried" he says. Well, I think it's gross to eat any cake after that long so I'll have to be making it again soon!
