About this Cook
I am the wife to a modern-day Romeo and a stay-at-home mom to three boys ranging in ages of 10 to 4. They, along with our four beloved dogs and cat keep me pretty busy. I love photography and nature in general.
My favorite things to cook
Pretty much anything that my boys will devour. I love making sweets and candies though mainly because they remind me of the holiday season.
My favorite family cooking traditions
It's not really "cooking" per say but every Christmas I help the boys make candy cane reindeer that they can give to their classmates.
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting dishes like szechuan green beans, chicken tenders and donuts and going above and beyond the taste buds with my hashbrown casserole, calzones and twice-baked mashed potatoes.
My cooking tragedies
Funny...I have forgotten those :)

Sweet Dinner Rolls
Prepared exactly as stated only without the breadmaker option and made as rolls instead of crescents and it is not a keeper for me. Turned out dry and not sweet at all :(

Crab Rangoon III
I did what others suggested and cut the amount of crab meat down to 1-6 ounce can, added 1/4 cup chopped green onions instead of water chesnuts and added more sugar and they turned out great. I kept adding a tsp of sugar to the mix until I got it sweet enough to our liking, which was 7 tsp. The only criticizism I had was that they were a little oily on the inside even though I let them drain plenty so next time I will try them in the oven. Also, a lot of the filling was evaporated when I fried them. Got "Mmmmmm" from the little one that loves them from a restaurant though.
