Saltine Toffee Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
I've made this a few times exactly as posted, sometimes it comes out perfect, others the "toffee" part never hardens and I end up throwing them in the trash. When they do work I get tons of compliments and requests for the recipe though.

Fluffy White Frosting

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
Doubled the recipe, and had enough for almost 48 cupcakes. Tastes like marshmallow creme! Had lots of people asking me which brand I used to frost and were surprised when I told them it was homemade Would probably work best with chocolate, since it really does taste like marshmallow fluff.

Fried Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
I actually LOVE fried pickles. When I became pregnant with my 3rd child it's what I craved. I made these as followed and was not a HUGE fan. They were good but next time I'll have to make sure the oil isn't too hot and I may opt to use breadcrumbs instead, maybe with some spicy seasoning.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2010
I let my husband choose the cake flavor and he chose strawberry with chocolate chips. I did everything else as stated. Cookies came out perfect just really sweet. It would good with milk or coffee. My cookies usually burn, but I don't really think you can burn these, they are pretty foolproof!

Chocolate Chip Meringue

I've made these a few times, very yummy! I use milk chocolate chips and put cocoa in the "dough" to flavor that a bit too.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
I made these as part of my Christmas cookie spread. I pretty much made them as directed. They were good, got compliments from everyone. The only negative thing I heard is that they are very very sweet. You need to wash them down with coffee or something :)

Taco Stuffed Shells

My husband really liked these. I wasn't sure if he would becuase he's not a big fan of refried beans but it didn't phase him at all. He wants me to make these on a regular basis!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This was pretty good. I followed others advice. I mixed stuffing mix and breadcrumbs in some melted butter over the cheese, and I used mozzerella cheese. The stuffing is what made it tasty. The chicken was still kind of bland so next time I may use some more seasoning on the breast prior to baking

Chocolate Covered Easter Eggs

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2009
I made these awhile ago, so I'm a bit rusty but wanted to rate it because I keep having people ask me to make them again! I made peanut butter, mint and coconut flavored. They were all a huge hit! It depended on the person as to which flavor they raved about. The only pain in the butt is trying to dip these in chocolate as well as really time consuming. I ended up making balls and just dipping them they didn't look as appealing as the default picture ( I have no idea how someone did that, I couldn't for the life of me!) but were really really good. Now I want to make some more!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2009
This was awesome. Co-workers always make it by just throwing everything in a crockpot and letting it sit for a few hours but I did it just as described. I'm having a party with about 20 people and should have doubled the recipe, it's not going to be enough especially with how I know it's going to get eaten! I put a little more hot sauce in because my hubby likes things spicy.

Easter Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
This turned out pretty good, just very sweet. I split it into 3 flavors, coconut, peanut butter and mint. I had good feedback on all. I could have used more coconut (I used one full bag of sweetened coconut flakes) for the coconut 'eggs' though. The mint tasted like a junior mint, i just put a tablespoon of peppermint extract in, and the peanut butter ones tasted like buckeyes. I had to freeze the batter for a bit before making the balls ( I couldn't shape eggs well enough so I just made balls) becuase it wasn't hard enough to and just stuck to my hands. I then had to freeze it again prior to dipping in the chocolate and one more time after dipping in chocolate. I couldn't find an easy way to dip (I used a corn on the cob holder and jabbed it in) so mine weren't completely covered, there was a small hole in the top where I was sticking them to coat. It worked out OK though becuase you could see the flavor they were. All in all, making the filling was easy, but freezing took most of the day. It turned out pretty sweet but I liked them and no one complained! They were gone by the end of the day and I had a few people ask for the recipe. I would make again!!!
