Old Charleston Style Shrimp and Grits

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2013
I was really looking forward to this but the grits are terrible. 2 teaspoons of salt is way to much and the grits were extremely salty. I am new to making grits so I will know better next time.

Garlic Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
This was incredibly good, but with some changes. I used fresh chopped garlic and added salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. Reduced butter to a half tbsp on each one and wrapped as directed. Baked at 375 for 30 minutes. So good!

Hamburger Soup I

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
This soup was SO delicious and easy to make. I used leftover spagetti sauce instead of the diced tomatoes and can of sauce. I also added garlic and green beans and used 2 cans of beef stock instead of the cubes. Did not need salt or ketchup.

Grilled Chicken and Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
I love that you can play around with this recipe and that the ingredients are items I always have on hand. I used tri-colored rotini, cubed cheddar cheese, shredded parm cheese, and scallions in place of the onions. Also used more tomatoes than it called for. Top with your favorite dressing, delicious!

Amelia's Tuna Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2005
This recipe is okay, but needs some additions to make it great. I doubled up on the onion, celery and tuna. I also added corn instead of peas since I didn't have any. We couldn't taste the relish, so I added some cubed pickles and it was great!
