Ken's Perfect Hard Boiled Egg (And I Mean Perfect)

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
OMG if I could give this 10 stars, I would. It's a CHRISTMAS MIRACLE that I can now cook hard boiled eggs! No kidding. I've spent my entire life trying every single trick known to man for making hard boiled eggs...nothing EVER works for me. I've tried new eggs, old eggs, fresh eggs, store eggs, large eggs, small eggs, starting with cold water vs. hot water...and even my vegetable steamer. So frustrating! But these came out ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Thanks so much for posting this recipe...it's amazing :)) I will need to cook mine just a minute or two longer next time tho...there was this teeniest spot in the middle of them that wasn't quite cooked all the way. Still tho...worlds apart from my previous attempts!

Pumpkin Pancakes with Nutmeg Whipped Cream

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2011
OMG sooooo good. It made a dozen for me, and three were VERY filling. They puffed up as thick as grilled cheese sandwiches, and were even good cold later on. I wasn't able to make the whipped cream cuz I didn't have any, but maple syrup was FANTASTIC with this. I don't use ginger, so instead I used 3/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp nutmeg....perfect! Other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. The batter is thick like muffin batter....just leave it cuz it works. Just use the back of your measuring cup or scoop to flatten them a little when you put them in the pan. What to do with the rest of the can of pumpkin...? Just found out you can stir a little into cream of wheat or oatmeal...or maybe portion it out and freeze it for the next batch of pancakes :))

Scalloped Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2011
I've tried sooo many recipes like this...each one turning out to be not exactly what I had hoped for. We absolutely LOVED this one. I didn't have any sour cream on hand, so I tried it without, and it was fantastic anyways. I also baked it in an 11x8 dish, but still at 40 minutes...and it was PERFECT! It was golden and just a tiny bit crunchy on the edges. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one!!

Thanksgiving Drumstick Treats™

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
SUCH a cute idea. Considering Thanksgiving only comes once a year, and this only makes 12 of them, it doesn't seem it would be too terribly time-consuming to shape these. Will definitely take some practice, but the idea is genius! Seems to me that some sort of a fish-shaped mold would be a great place to start..
