Annie's Turkey Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I agree with the other review...forget using just leftovers! I used leftovers from Thanksgiving but wish I had used the whole Turkey!. This salad is AWESOME. Everyone loved it, even my 4 year old niece who never eats anything. And the chunky texture of chopping the turkey, not using the food processor/grinder, is essential. I really don't enjoy salads that just taste like a meat with mayonnaise so the tangy flavor added by the mustard and pickles is great. It will be even better this summer when the weather is hot and will likely replace my chicken salad recipe. I used the pecans in the salad because I love them, and because I felt it gave a little more "crunch" to the salad which added a nice texture element. Also, instead of grapes (because I didn't have any on hand) I used a chopped granny smith apple. You can't go wrong with this one!

Chicken Cordon Bleu Bites

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
An excellent recipe! I loved it so much that I adapted it into a meal by making larger meatballs and serving them over bow-tie pasta with a garlic-Parmesan cream sauce.

Crispy Fish Fillets

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
This recipe was nice and crispy without the "over fried" taste. I don't even like fish that well and I thought this recipe was good.

Garlic and Herb Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2007
This recipe is outstanding. My husband and I love it. It has great flavor and is really easy to make. Sometimes I mix in the ingrediants and set my bread maker to the dough function then shape the dough into smallers balls for rolls. It bakes well in the oven if you prefer rolls to an entire loaf.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
This recipe is very good. And its very easy to make. It took me longer to cook the pasta than to make the sauce. I served it with some steamed broccoli and grilled chicken breast. It's a fast recipe for a weeknight meal. I agree with other reviews that the key to a smooth sauce is whisking nearly constantly. And fresh grated Parmesan is essential.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This pie is the best! Its a peanut butter lovers dream come true. My husband is a huge peanut butter lover and will eat peanut butter right from the jar if I let him. He thought this pie was the best he had ever eaten. The texture is smooth and creamy which I loved, but the flavor is not overwhelmingly rich, which is impressive given the ingredients. Its an excellent dessert for any occasion and a real crowd pleaser.

Zucchini Casserole II

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2008
This recipe is simple to make and a good side dish. I felt it needed a little more flavor, but its a great use for all that extra zucchini in the late summer and early fall

Hot Shredded Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
easy to make. i get whole chickens and cook them which gives better flavor than canned chicken. also, i include a bullion cube when cooking the chicken. i made it for a dinner and kept it warm in a crock pot. worked out great. my husband loves it! I've made this recipe several times.
