Waldorf Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This was a very good tuna salad! I did not have any rasins so I substituted dried cranberries and it was delicious! I also subbed light sour cream for the yogurt and it was a hit!

Melt In Your Mouth Toffee

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This toffee was great the second time I tried it...the first time, my butter seperated and it was horrible. I read through several of the reviews and took some of their advise and the second time, it was great!! I used name-brand butter to keep it from seperating and added 2 tablespoons of Karo Syrup to make it more smooth...worked out great!

Proper English Cottage Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2009
I loved this recipe!! I did change it a bit...I added 1/2 cup red wine to the broth (and decreased the broth by 1/2 cup-it was delicious! I also added frozen peas to the mix and baked it in a 9x9 pan because it wouldn't have fit in a pie plate. I would also reccommend peeling the potatoes before starting the meat mixture...it would have gone smoother if I would have done that first. Great recipe...I will make this one again and again!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I love this recipe, and it is so easy to make! I have made it twice now, and both times it has been delicious...the second time I added more milk(instead of cream)and cornstartch because I wanted a bit more sauce to cover my chicken...it was an easy fix and still so yummy!

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I had never made a pie crust before because I didn't want to bother...but one day I ended up without one and unable to make it to the store...this recipe was a life-saver and it was so good that I will be using it from now on instead of buying pie crusts! It was so easy and I loved that you didn't even have to roll it out, just press it in the pan!

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
I loved this salad! I used red, yellow, and orange peppers and it tasted great! I ended up with too much sauce, and saved the extra but never needed it. I did cut the sugar a bit as some of the other reviewers had suggested and it was amazing. I will be using this one again and again this coming summer!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2009
Not that impressed...I would reccommend following the Toll House recipe instead of this one...I felt that this one lacked the taste and texture that I prefer in a chocolate chip cookie.

Lemon Souffle Cheesecake with Blueberry Topping

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
This was amazing!! I loved the fluffy, airy texture! I did use raspberries instead of blueberries (personal preference) and it was to die for! My only problem was that I ended up with too much filling for my spring form pan...so I just put the extra in custard cups and baked it seperatly. This recipe was well worth the effort and I will make agian and again!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2009
This recipe was very good, and the chicken was very tender and delicious, however although it was a Great starter recipe, next time I will add veggies (just a personal preference) and use a different dumpling just because I felt like the torn buscuits still tasted like the store bought buscuits and wasn't the home-made taste I was looking for.

BUSH'S® Rockin' Rainbow Pasta

I really like this recipe...make sure you add all of the garlic it calls for and a dash more lemon juice. My husband and 1 year old loves it!

Marinated Cucumbers

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
This was a nice variation of the traditional vinegar marinated cucumbers. I added red pepper and cherry tomatoes to the mix and it turned out great. I didn't have dried oregano, so I used itallian seasoning instead, it was delish!

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2009
This was very good just as written. I have made it twice and it is worth it to not use the condenced soup. I have made it a third time with canned chicken because I was out of tuna and it was good as well.

This was fine but nothing special for me. I am not sure if lemon is the right flavor to go with broccoli, I will probably won't make this again.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
This was very good, I used whole milk instead of the cream and it was still very good. I also used frozen sweet corn from my garden last summer instead of store bought and it was delicious.
