About this Cook
I love to cook, I watch the food network often and I'm learning so much. I'm a mom of two boys. I also enjoy singing and playing guitar.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking new things and wowing my husband. I really love doing things from scratch because it's so satisfying knowing you did it all yourself.
My favorite family cooking traditions
eggs goldenrod for breakfast on easter. I'll submit this recipe soon. It's toooo good.
My cooking triumphs
I've mastered two of my favorite dishes from my two favorite resaraunts. Zuppa Toscana from Olive Garden and the shrimp pesto penne from Prest Cuccina
My cooking tragedies
I sent out to cook a live lobster with steak and mashed potatos for supper. I got my husband to help me because I thought it would be romantic to cook a nice supper together. I followed the recipe for the lobster but we both HATED the flavor. The steak got cold and I just ended up pissy. I hate making gross food.

Bran Muffins a la Brian
Loved it!! I used whole wheat flour and I only had white sugar so I put in more molasses...perhaps a lot more. I LOVE it. It's not dense even though I used whole wheat. They're so light and fluffy and rich. I love the molasses flavour. Oh ya...no raisins in the house, it's sweet enough without them!!

Healthy Banana Cookies
mmmmmmmm So yummy. The only thing I did differently was substitute chocolate chips instead of the dates. SO yummy. My children love them too so that's all that matters. I love not adding the extra sugar into them. I'm ok with a few choco chippies though :) I'll be making these a lot. I'm going to blog about this recipe today too, it's THAT good. http://pluckymama.wordpress.com/

SO GOOD!!! Can't forget the vinegar and oil. Love love love love love. Made my husband make it and he's so proud. Needed a bit more salt. that's all.
