Adas bil Hamod (Lebanese Lentil Lemon Soup)

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2012
I really like this soup, especially after the flavors blend for a day. The taste is different--somewhat reminiscent of stuffed grape leaves. I have frozen it in individual servings with fine results. You can't get much healthier or cheaper!

Cherry Banana Mini Loaves

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
My neighbor, who was the recipient of one of these loaves, just called to tell me it was "the best banana bread I ever had!" I'm not sure I would go quite that far, but it is tasty. As other reviewers mentioned, it takes a while to bake all the way through--I had to put it back in the oven because it was still gooey inside when I cut it open even after a toothpick came out clean. (I used mini loaf pans.)

I'll definitely make this again! It's surprisingly good for such a simple recipe. The dressing is great.

This is a nice change from lettuce salads. I took it for lunch today, and everyone wanted the recipe as soon as they smelled it. :)

Very good and pretty quick & easy to make. I used light coconut milk, as suggested by other reviewers. I'll definitely make this again. :)

Pumpkin Pie for Dieters

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
Just what I was looking for--something quick, easy, sweet, and low-cal! It even has some nutritional value with the pumpkin and milk. I didn't follow the measurements exactly (just used up leftovers), but this turned out nicely. It isn't especially sweet, so you may want to add a little Splenda or something.

Fancy Chicken Salad

Reviewed: May 13, 2006
Yum! As many other reviewers have said, this is indeed a tasty, zesty chicken salad! The flavors go together nicely, and no changes are necessary. I will definitely make this again.

Pumpkin Fudge

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2005
This recipe turned out quite nicely. If you know how to make fudge, you'll have no trouble with it. The pumpkin flavor is a nice seasonal change from chocolate, but not something I'd want year-round. I'm cutting it with a tiny pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter to take to a harvest party, along with other flavors/shapes (maple fudge cut with a maple leaf cutter, and chocolate fudge cut with an acorn cutter).
