About this Cook
As a mother of 4, I'm glad my mom taught me how to cook from an early age. Since she was a military brat and travelled extensively, she had the wonderful benefit of learning to cook and developing a taste for exotic cuisine. It was always interesting having friends over when I was a kid (in the days when fried pork chops, mashed potatoes, and green beans were the American staple). We were eating yakisoba, jambalaya, fried tacos, etc. Every night was different!

Peanut Butter Cookies IX
Tons of compliments. Just made a double batch to send with my husband and son for a trip to a men's retreat with a bus load of guys. I didn't have brown sugar, so I substituted with more white sugar + molasses. Tasted just the same. I always double the batch and use 3 eggs instead of two. Makes them wonderfully gooey and not dry.

Peanut Clusters Chocolate Cookie
This is an excellent "no bake" recipe. Couple of changes - I didn't have salted peanuts, but the unsalted worked just as great - also, I added twice the amount of chocolate, but I used chocolate chips. I think the extra chocolate made them have a smoother texture, which helped them not taste "grainy" like most "no bake" recipes. Overall, great recipe!!! Has definitely replaced my old one.

Pizza Dough I
So far I've not had great success with pizza dough -- UNTIL NOW!!! This recipe was great. I've made it twice now, to prove that it wasn't just blind luck. And to top it off, we used it on the grill! It has great texture and flavor. Once I added a little garlic powder and dried Italian seasonings to give it a little twist. Another time I topped it with a little bbq sauce grilled chicken and a light sprinkling of cheddar cheese. This will forever replace any other pizza crust for me. Thanks for the recipe!
