RJ's Peanut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2011
This was my first time making peanut brittle and the taste is great! There are a few too many nuts in it for me (I made a 1/2 recipe of it but didn't change anything other than halfing everything). I am going to keep this one and maybe only add 1/2 the nuts and a pinch of salt to it next time. Thanks for the recipe!!!

Fudgy Brownies

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2011
SO WONDERFUL!! Just what my Gluten Free life was missing!! I can’t use “normal” flour because of allergies so I used my favorite Gluten Free flour (Jules Gluten Free Flour) and these turned out so good!! They taste just like I remember brownies tasting before I had to give up gluten. I fallowed the recipe as is only changing my flour and leaving out the nuts so it was safe for us to eat…THANK YOU!!!

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
I made this with a few changes for allergy reasons and from other reviews. I added the extra 1/4c of milk and used 2 tablespoons of vanilla, I also had to use a gluten free flour (I used Jules Gluten Free all purpose flour) They turned out GREAT, and EXTRA fluffy not sure if it was the flour change or if it was because I filled my empty cupcake spots with water adding extra moisture to the oven. THANKS!!

Garlic-Herb Roast Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
This was really good. Mine was a little salty but that could be on me I think I added a little more than it called for. I was worried that it wouldn't be cooked all the way because everything I have read says that pork should be cooked to 160, but I checked it again before serving and it made its way up to 160 so I was happy. I used dried (ground) herbs and this was still really good. THANKS!!!!

Cajun Style Corn Soup

Reviewed: May 19, 2009
WOW WOW WOW!!! I am not a fan of tomato soup so when I read that ½ way through making this I kind of freaked out. I added 4 bouillon cubes to make my water beef stock and OMG this is soooooo good nothing like tomato soup. I am cooking up some pasta to add to this because after trying it I decided pasta would be a great add in. Oh and I didn’t have cayenne pepper so I used ground red pepper. Also my hubby doesn’t like bell peppers so I didn’t add them and it is still GREAT!!!

Spiced Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
ehhhh...this wasn't bad but only because of the orange juice, then again it wasn't so good because of the OJ. There is way to much orange flavor to this I would think about using only 1/2 the oj. The only flavor that stands out is the oj and we used fresh ginger and everything. All in all I wouldn't make this one again...sorry

Aloha Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2008
This was good but I think it could have been better. I do have to say that this is the first chicken I have been able to eat since I found out I was Prego (6 months ago). My husband really liked it and wants to try it again. Next time I will triple the sauce and maybe add some peppers like others have tried. I was hoping to be able to pour the sauce over the rice but was left with non after adding the chicken and pineapple in so I will make sure I can get all that sauce next time. Over all good though. (Oh and I added some red pepper to the flour when I coated the chicken and that gave it a nice little kick.)

Ten Clove Garlic Marinade

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2008
This was maybe some of the best steak I have ever had!! My son who doesn't really care for red meat couldn't get enough of it. We are going to try it on chicken next...I was kind of scared the that garlic would be too much but it wasn't at all. One thing I did differently was added only half the oil and it was more than enough. THANK YOU!!!
