Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
This was such an easy recipe to make. I ended up using the advice of several to make mine. I did use 5 frozen chicken breasts. Before I added the sauce mixture I finely chopped a white onion, I seasoned the chicken with garlic powder, pepper and Lowry's and I also added about a cup of reduced sodium, all natural chicken broth. I then followed the recipe for the BBQ sauce mixture. My husband bought KC Masterpiece regular BBQ sauce...that seemed to work fine. I also didn't have enough time so I cooked all of this on high for 3 hours. After the 3 hours, I took out the chicken and shredded it with two forks. I also took some of the BBQ sauce from my slow cooker and placed it in my glass pyrex measuring cup and added some flour to thicken the remaining sauce. I used a wisk to remove the lumps...this is how my mom makes her gravy too...and returned the thicker sauce to the pot....I continued wisking to ensure the thicker sauce circulated. I returned the shredded chicken to the pot and cooked an additional hour. My husband thought the chicken was a little over cooked so I would suggest cutting that 4th hour into half an hour. I brushed the tops of our whole wheat potato bread hamburger bunswith an olive oil, garlic pwder and touch of salt mixture and placed the buns in the broiler until they were a tad warm and toasty. I will devinitly make this recipe again! DELISH!

Hot Spiced Cranberry Cider
I made this for a holiday event with reporters. All of which sang my praises for the delicious cider. I kept the cider warm by bringing my slow cooker to the party and used a ladel to scoop it out. The recipe is very similar to my moms recipe that uses some of the same ingridients. I did not keep the lemons in, as mentioned in other reviews. I have made this several times! A sure winner!

Best Lemonade Ever
This was delicious. I have made it again and again. I even did the splenda substitution!
