Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2015
This is an easy and delicious dinner to prepare after a long day of work and I'm lost with what to make. Tastes like I spent all day on it but it was just tossed together. I followed advice of others and bake it for the majority of the time and then broil it the last 8-10 minutes on my low broiler setting. The whole family can't get enough and it's now a weekly staple on our dinner table. Is particularly yummy with long grain and wild rice on the side.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2013
They hold their shapes extremely well and this is great when making these with my preschooler. Keep them in an airtight container and they remain soft too. I've had them stored for almost 2 weeks before eating them all and they were the same consistency as the day they were baked. My go-to sugar cookie cutout recipe every time. Excellent!

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2010
Outstanding recipe. The leftovers were even better the following day. I added 1 tsp of garlic powder by mistake and the flavor was still delicious. A keeper!

Curried Leek Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2009
My husband walked in the door while this was simmering and instantly said, "Wow, that smells great!" Extremely easy to prepare. I'll be making this frequently. I added a little bit of Tumeric and ginger to kick up the eastern flavor.

Cornish Game Hens with Rice Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
Simple flavor, but this turned out much better than I expected. I broiled the hens for the last 10-15 minutes to make the skin more crisp.

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

Reviewed: May 9, 2006
Very tasty recipe and simple. I enjoy the texture of fresh vegetables in my stuffing so I added diced carrots, celery and onion to the mix. I also used unseasoned stuffing. To enhance the flavor I salted the chicken, added salt and pepper to the liquid ingredients, as well as a good tsp each of rubbed sage, thyme and basil. Turned out great!

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
Excellent! Not too overwhelming with the pesto. I used half and half instead of heavy cream and it still worked well. I also used more shrimp to get some in almost every bite.

Chicken Wild Rice Soup I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
A thick and hearty soup. Tasted very good. Next time I will add some crumbled bacon pieces for a bit more complex flavor.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
Excellent cookie recipe. Stayed chewy for 2 weeks after baking. Used only half a tsp of cloves. The "bite" wasn't as strong and made my second batch much more popular with my family.

Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2006
Fantastic recipe. I used half and half instead of the heavy cream. I reduced the amount a little to compensate for a more runny fluid. Still tasted great!

Royal Icing I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
Excellent recipe for decorating cookies. It is a little runny, but works great with a small decorator tip. After storing all my cookies together in large containers, the icing stayed in place! No chipping! I will use this recipe every Christmas.
