Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
I tried this three times in a bundt pan...first in a flexible silicone type, and then in a metal one. All three times was a failure...the part on top after I flipped the bread out was a gooey doughy mess every time. The bottom where it baked was delicious, but still wasted over half from it not baking. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate them. Was hoping to make this for a fundraiser coming up.

GA Peach Pound Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2010
I made this with fresh peaches, and in 2 bread loaf pans. I needed to bake it a little longer than it said, but it was delicious...my husband asked me to make it three times in two weeks. I did add some extra peaches after the first batch...wonderful

Cakes In A Cone

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
I have made these several times. The first time I filled them too full and they overflowed. The second time I filled them just about the second line and they came out perfect. I skip the chocolate chips and just use my icing bag to decorate with a swirled top and add sprinkles. Looks just like a cone of soft serve and not nearly as messy as a regular cupcake. Always get positive comments on them. I've never had mine get soggy overnight. I just use mini cupcake liners (doubled up) when I bake mine, and they've never burnt. This is a great idea for anything with kids!!!

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
This is delicious! I add a little extra vanilla, and sprinkle cinnamon on top, but that's just to my taste. I made this for Christmas, and everyone has been asking me to make it almost every week since. This one is definitely a keeper! Thanks for sharing!

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
Great cookies. Delicious, and very pretty. I followed the recipe, but made mine larger, about golf ball size, and then put 2 or 3 cherries in the middle. I had to triple the cookie recipe, but not the icing...it came out just right. Everyone loved them.

Easy Lemon Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
WOW! I just finished making 6 dozen of these cookies, and they are already disappearing as they are cooling! My husband said it's the first lemon cookie he's had that actually tasted like lemon. Like a few other users, I used a package of lemonade koolaid and 1 1/2 t. of lemon extract. I doubled the recipe, and refrigerated the dough for 15 minutes, but I rolled the dough into balls about the size of a golf ball and the rolled them in the powdered sugar. I baked the on parchment paper at 350 for 10 minutes, 2 pans at a time, and came out with 6 dozen cookies exactly! THIS IS THE PERFECT LEMON COOKIE RECIPE! Thanks for sharing!!!

Angie's Dad's Best Cabbage Coleslaw

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2009
This is an excellent recipe. Everyone in my family loved it, and there are some hard to please people in my family. The only thing that I will change the next time I make it is cut back a little on the oil...it seemed to be just a tiny bit too oily for me, but other than that, it was great!!!

Thanksgiving Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
These were very good. The only thing that I might change next time is cut the butter in half. There seemed to be quite a bit of it laying in the bottom of my casserole dish. Other than that...perfect!!!

Quick Pickled Eggs and Beets

Reviewed: May 30, 2007
This recipes was ok...but not a real hit at our house. The second time I made it I left out the cinnamon, and doubled up on the vinegar. My family loved them.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2006
This recipe is GREAT! I followed the suggestions in some of the other reviews and didn't use the cheddar cheese, but it was great without it. I will use just a little more hot sauce the next time, but we like things pretty hot. Everyone loved it, and I'd say that if your serving alot of people, the amount of hot sauce that it calls for is perfect...spicy, but not too hot.
