My mom used to make one every time I had a bad day, and I consider them to be the ultimate comfort food. Publishing a recipe on this website was pretty exciting for me, actually! Apart from the countless dishes that I've charred to a crisp, I once misread a recipe and used three whole teaspoons of cayenne pepper on four small servings of chicken. My taste buds still haven't forgiven me :) And then there was the time I spent several hours preparing and baking a gorgeous quiche, only to drop the entire thing all over the floor...I could go on forever telling scary kitchen tales!
