Banana Nut Muffins

I used chocolate chips and vanilla extract instead of walnuts and lemon zest because those were what I had on hand. Also, I used 1 egg white and 1 whole egg because the yolk escaped into the bowl. The results were great. These muffins have a great, light texture.

Dad's Asian Slaw

Very good. Next time I think that I will make my own vinagrette so that the flavors are a little stronger. The next day I added chicken to the leftovers for a light lunch. Tasty.

Hummus III

I followed other's suggestions and added 1/4 tsp. of ground cumin, 4 garlic gloves, a touch of cayenne, a bit more lemon juice, and a little bit of the garbanzo bean liquid. It is very tasty

Grandma's Chicken Chardon

Great recipe. I used Italian style bread crumbs instead of the plain ones and garlic powder. Next time I think I will turn mushrooms and butter into a pan sauce after the chicken is cooked.

Great recipe. I used dried Turkish apricots rather than raisins since that's what I had in the pantry. Update: The last time I made these I forgot to include the brown sugar and the result was still pretty good. In the future, I think that I will add the brown sugar, but cut down on the amount called for in the recipe.

G's Flank Steak Marinade

I really enjoyed the flavors in this marinade, but found it too salty. Next time I think that I will make it with reduced sodium soy sauce to see if that helps balance out the saltiness.
