Cherry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt

Yummy! It is a lot of work to get 2 cups of chopped cherries, but it is worth it! I used non fat greek yogurt and non fat cream cheese and it came out great. I only used 3/4 cup of sugar and it is too sweet... I will use 1/2 or 1/3 cup of sugar next time and add a bit of dark chocolate chips next time.

Deep Chocolate Raspberry Cake

the icing is great, but the cake came out pretty dry. maybe 45min is too long...? tastes good, but we didn't like the texture, so we won't be making this again, except the icing.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

This recipe is great! Everybody at our get together loved it. Only 1 modification i did was to reduce the amount of powder sugar to half for icing. I usually take off icing from any cake since they are just too sugary, but I really liked the fact it was not too sweet, so I even added extra onto mine as I ate. I will try to reduce some sugar for the cake and use low fat cream cheese and non fat sour cream next time and see if it is as good.

the batter tasted really good, but it was just ok once it cooled down. maybe because i used a heart shaped springform pan, i wished i didnt have phyllo on the side.

Frozen Strawberry Yogurt

I used non fat greek yogurt instead. it is a bit icy if you eat it right after taking out of a freezer, but if you wait for 20-30 min as the recipe says, it is soft and creamy. i dont mind the icy texture and usually dont want to wait... It's too sweet. I wonder I can use half a can of condense milk and half a can of evaporated milk. I will try that next time. amazing flavor. i will make it again, but maybe with a couple of table spoon of lemon juice.

Gnocchi in Fontina Sauce

it tastes good, but way too heavy. i would use half amount of fontina cheese. i also used half&half instead of heavy cream.

Apple Bundt Cake

I baked for 50 min and it was too long. i would start checking after 40 min. it is too dry after baking 50 min. I followed a reviewer's advice and used 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of brown sugar and it was still too sweet... Other people seemed to like it, but I would use even less sugar.

Basic Corn Muffins

well, i was out of flour, so i just used regular oatmeal (not quick cooking) and just a bit of bisquick. less sugar and added some honey. it turned out to be better than i thought considering i used ragular oatmeal instead of flour. more fiber!

Pretty good. I don't think jarapenos I used are very spicy. I used gluten free flour, almond milk and honey as I avoid refined sugar and gluten.

In-a-Pinch Ketchup

Update: I didn't use any brown sugar. I added 1tbs of honey instead. And Molasses and corn syrup (I used agave nectar instead) add enough sweetness. I also added thyme and cumin. Perfect for me, but I don't think is is sweet enough for my husband. ------------------------------------------ OMG! It is way too sweet!!! And i only used 3 tbs of sugar. Molasses and corn syrup (which I replaced with honey) should have been enough.

This is so good! I am not a big fan of chocolate cake, but I love this one. I did use bitter sweet chocolate chips instead semi-sweet. I put whipped cream and raspberries on top. I will make it again.
