Italian Bread Wedges

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2008
I loved this recipe! It tastes like a similar one I get from a local pizza restaurant...only instead of the italian dressing I made a garlic butter and spread it on and then topped with cheese...YUMMO!

Garlic-Brown Sugar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
Wow, I was skeptical to try this because of others reviews...but it looked so easy...I am so glad I made it!! My husband doesn't like too much vinegar...and I'm happy to report this WASN'T too vinegary. It was great! The only changes I made were that I used chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken and placed everything in the crockpot on low for 4-6 hours (I didn't marinate.) I thickened the sauce on the stove with cornstarch and water..and it turned out very good! I will definitely use this recipe again and again! Thanks for sharing it!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2011
LOVED THIS! The only reason I'm giving it a four is because the proportions are off...there is no way all this sauce and this many noodles fit into a 9x13. I used a large lasagna pan and it was perfect....however it could have easily made a 9x13 and a 9 in loaf pan worth. The only things I changed were using fresh basil 1/2 cup, a whole pound of ground beef, and parm/regg instead of plain parm...I let it sit in fridge two nights....hubby LOVED IT!!

Buttermilk Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
Very good recipe! It was one of the most tender pieces of chicken I've ever made...the buttermilk makes it melt in your mouth! I used chicken tenderloins and turned them into chicken strips...they were great! I'll definitely make again!

My Chili

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2011
I thought this was pretty good-a bit salty for my taste-but my husband didn't think so. Next time I think I'd cut the salt to 1 t. and maybe add a bit of sugar to cut the tomatoes acidity.

This turned out to be good and moist. I can understand why some thought it may be a bit bland...I think it could have used some more blueberries.

Hot Ham 'n' Cheese

I seasoned these with Penzey's sandwich sprinkle...they tasted wonderful! I think the temperature needs to be 400 so the sandwich get crispy and warm all the way through...mine at 350 weren't hot in the middle.

Very good-but the celery was still a bit too crunchy-sauteeing it first would make it perfect! Also, instead of macaroni noodles use the small circular ones....!
