Rich and Simple Chocolate Frosting

Reviewed: May 8, 2009
I'm giving this recipe 4 stars for taste. However, it turned out a bit like chocolate mousse instead of frosting. I have to admit it was humid here today and they may have been some of the problem. I would definitely triple the recipe for a filled 9x9. Also, make sure to use a GOOD BRAND of chocolate...that is what will make or break this recipe!

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2009
Very good. I followed the reviews including adding a diced onion and 4 cloves of garlic and sauteing them in olive oil....I used 2% milk, and Italian cheese blend in the sauce....definitely use a 13x9 pan and it will be very full! I added a bag of sweet peas and I topped it with the italian cheese blend, italian bread crumbs, and italian seasioning...Definitly only bake for 30-40 minutes and it will be plenty done...YUM!

I followed the recipe exactly but doubled the topping and put half in the middle as suggested....we didn't care for it at all. I had to throw it out :( Not very moist and bland.

WOW! I was looking for a punch recipe for a baby shower that was blue...I came across this one and thought I'd give it a try. I'm sooo glad I did! The only thing I changed was instead of white cranberry I used whie cranberry peach juice (because I couldn't find just white cranberry)Let's just say the punch was a HIT and the bowl was EMPTY at the end of the party!

Very good cake. I followed others suggestions and seperated the eggs and beat them until stiff peaks formed and added them in at the end. I frosted it with buttcream and topped with a marshmellow fondant. I got great reviews!

Hot Ham 'n' Cheese

I seasoned these with Penzey's sandwich sprinkle...they tasted wonderful! I think the temperature needs to be 400 so the sandwich get crispy and warm all the way through...mine at 350 weren't hot in the middle.
