Spicy Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2010
These were definitely spicey. Don't get me wrong, I love a spicey burger, but I thought the spice was a little bit too much in this one. It seemed like too much heat, and not enough flavor. I'll make this again, but I'll probably cut back a bit on all of the spices.

Blue Cheese Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2010
What a great spin on potato salad. It's so light and fresh. Much better than the creamy potato salad in my opinion. I don't know that I'll ever go back! I forgot the bacon in this, but it was still AMAZING without it. I used red onion because that's what I had on hand. This stuff is addicting. It was just as good the next day, too. I can't wait to make it again.

These cookies were very good, but I honestly don't think they were the best ever.

Easy Beer Bread Mix

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2010
This is amazing. I don't know why anyone would want to buy one of those TS party beer breads because this is so much better! Not only is this bread more tastey than the TS beer bread, it's sooo much cheaper to make. Two thumbs up.

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2010
Wow! This will knock your socks off! Definitely spicey, but in a good way. I added sour cream and a little extra cheese to mine and it was amazing. This is perfect for a cold fall or winter evening.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
This was really good even though I sort of messed up the recipe (my computer died, and I had to go off memory). I accidentally added ALL of the flour to the yeast mixture before kneading. Turned out pretty good despite that. I'll use this recipe again for sure.

These were good and easier than I thought to put together, but I have to be honest and say I've had better.

Chocolate Truffle Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2010
Excellent! Very rich but very good. These were very easy to put together. I had to bake my cookies for 13 minutes to get perfect results. I will definitely be making these again.

Chicken Enchilada Casserole II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Fantastic. My husband raved about this, and so did his friends who raided my leftovers! I used flour tortilla shells, and got great results, no mush. I did make two small changes, one was using half a block of cream cheese because I needed to use it up (I decreased the amount of sour cream), and I added some jalapenos. I will make this again for sure!

Tuscan Cream Cheese Spread

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
This was tastey! My local grocery store sells a dip very similar to this with gorgonzola, so I added probably 3 oz to the dip and I'm glad I did, it took the flavor to a whole nother level. Delish!

This was fantastic! I brought this to my family Christmas dinner, and it went over very well. I think I found a new favorite potluck dish!

Oven-Baked Caramel French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2009
Both my husband and I were disappointed in this recipe. The bottom layer of bread was too mushy, and the top was too hard, so much that it was inedible. I followed this recipe to a T, so I don't know what went wrong. I will not be making this again.

Pittsburgh Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2009
I brought this to a potluck, and it must have been good because there wasn't any left! The taste was ok in my opinion, and I might use more onion next time.

New Orleans Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
The taste of this pie is amazing. I made it to the exact recipe, and it came out a bit oily for some reason. I also had to bake my pie for an hour and 20 minutes before it set. I might only use 3/4 cup chocolate chips next time as they seemed overpowering, and add a bit more whiskey as I could barely taste it. I will definitely make this again with a few minor changes.

Cheesy Brat Stew for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
I've made this a few times and it's fantastic. My husband especially loves this on cold days. I have to make sure I cut my potatoes small enough though. If they're too big, they take too long to cook. Thanks for this one! It's a fall/winter staple in our house.

Never Fail Pie Crust II

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
I was skeptical of this recipe, but it turned out pretty good. I was overwhelmed by how much dough it made. I had enough for 3 single crust pies. I might cut the recipe in half next time. This crust was especially nice because I didn't have to roll it out for the pies I made. I'll probably use this again during the busy holidays.
