I wish it would have more flavor. Need to add more seasonings and It would be good. Put in 9x9 pan with one bag of broccoli and cooked at 375 for about 50 minutes

Taco Pie

Good starter recipe. I add onions when browning hamburger. I then add can of tomatoes - Rotel to mixture and cook for 10 minutes. I add black olives to hamburger mixture. Put it on cooked base and put cheese and chips on top and throw it back in oven. Then top with sour cream, green onion and avocado. So good

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
This one is a keeper. I minced onions, red pepper and one clove of garlic as substitute for dried onion mix. Added seasoned salt - pepper blend. My son hates sauces so didn't put any on top.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
Really good. Watch the timing though. This can go from moist to dry in 2 minutes time. Sometimes I put up to a cup of orange juice to make it more moist

Pumpkin-Pecan Braid

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2013
Really good. I used the whole can of pumpkin and doubled all of the filling ingredients like brown sugar and spices. I then used two cans of crescent rolls or two puff pastries and made two of them. So quick and family ate them both in two sittings.

Everyone that has tried this has loved the flavor and textures. Most people don't even want to try it and then end up asking for seconds.

Chicken Pot Pie IV

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
This is a good start, but I changed a few things. I sautéed carrots and onions. Added mushrooms with broccoli. For the sauce I added thyme leaves, garlic and onion powder for flavor and quite a bit of pepper. Mixed in a bunch of monterey jack cheese. I put puff pastry on with a few vent holes and egg washed for a beautiful golden brown crust. Baked at 400 for about 30 minutes. Family enjoyed it very much.

Eggplant, Roasted Pepper and Chicken Pitas

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2012
My family enjoyed this. I don't like eggplant very much but my husband does so I thought we would give it try. Seasoned flour with onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Used panko instead of breadcrumbs for more crunch. Great changes good meal.

Almond Apricot Jam

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2011
Very good. I would use 2 cups of apple juice instead of the 2 1/2 cups. I mixed half of the batch in the food processor and the other mashed down a little bit and mixed the two together so that there was some texture.

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: May 8, 2006
Excellant recipe. I made the cream sauce earlier in the day and used a asiago, parm, and fontiana cheese blend and refrigerated it. Pan seared the chicken with grill seasonings in a smaller amount of the bacon fat. I used 2 percent milk for the second part of the recipe to reduce the amount of fat. This one tastes just like a pasta dish that I always order at the Macaroni Grill. You will love this one.
