Marshmallow Fondant

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2011
added wintergreen flavouring and somehow it came out tasting like minty bubblegum, it was pink too, great for the toddlers that I was making it for, like a candy playdoh

Chocolate Syrup

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
So easy! Excellent, I used the simple syrup method from another user (heat the sugar and water until sugar dissolves, then add cocoa) worked great. I love that I can show my children what is in their food, and waste less plastic by buying the container in the grocery store. Thank you Zen K!

World's Best Lasagna

LOve it!!! a few changes here and there to tailor to our tastes (added mushrooms and spinach, and our homemade pasta), and took the suggestion of nutmeg in the ricotta...holy cow best lasagna ever!

Classic Carbonara with Pancetta

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
Make this all the time! We use it with the Fresh Pasta recipe and my Husband asks for it all the time. We do usually bump up the veggie count a little, adding broccoli, tomatoes, and spinach at the end plus anything else that catches our eye. Make sure to use the tips about reserving the cheese and eggs until the end, otherwise it's scrambled egg pasta...still good, but not as fantastic. I also add a little bit of nutmeg. YUM!

Fresh Guacamole

Reviewed: May 6, 2010
Excellent! I made two batches, one for the kids (both under 3) without the heat, and one with, although I did add a little chipotle chilli powder to add a little smokey flavour. My picky toddler loved it!

Fresh Semolina and Egg Pasta

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
Excellent, we just got our first pasta machine, and this was a HUGE hit with everyone. My Husband has even decided he wants to try it, and my toddler loves helping with this. One word of advice, if your using a mixer, just use it to get the ingredients to come together, than do the kneading yourself, mine is a kitchen aid and after 20 min. it still hadn't made any progress.

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2010
I make this all the time, but I use cornmeal instead of the additional flour, and add 2tsp of baking powder instead of the salt. Best Pizza dough ever, we don't order out any more.

Awsome!!! I have recently lost my grandmothers recipe for dough boys, and this one is as close as I can remember, they came out like biscuits! Almost as good as hers, but really who come close to granny's cooking right? Thank you, thank you, thank you for this recipe.

Spaghetti Carbonara II

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
Great, and done pretty quickly if you cook the "sauce" ingredients while your boiling the water and pasta. I took the advice of adding the egg to the parm first, then pouring over slightly cooled noodles... awsome! We did add some mushrooms and spinach and next time I'll probably add a little diced tomato to up the veggies but that's just personal taste. This recipe rocks!

Great! My son loved it, and so do I. Nice snack, good distraction for him, and I think it would go really well with a little chocolate :)
