I am a young wife and new mom. Since I decided to stay at home with my son, I have lots of time to get back to cooking, which I learned to enjoy from my mom. When I'm not taking care of domestic things around here, I'm usually talking to family elsewhere, reading a book, out walking, or popping in a favorite movie.
My favorite things to cook
I'm all about the quick and easy meals. I LOVE my slow cooker-let's me throw and go! The only time I really go all out is Thanksgiving, and I look forward to it every year.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family never really had many traditions, so I've taken on my husband's traditions: mushroom soup and hand-made pierogies for Christmas. We've also started our own Easter tradition: Lamb as the main dish; this goes with the traditional Polish bread and cheese.

My Thanksgiving meal has been widely praised by family.
