Souvlaki

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
This recipes never fails to please. I recently did a vegan version for a potluck and subbed the pork for eggplant. This marinade is great with pork, chicken, beef, lamb, tofu or just veggies. I've tried all variations and they all came out fantastic.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2011
Simply the best chicken pot pie I've ever made or tasted. This was so easy and delicious. I used to make my pot pies with canned creamed soups but wanted to try something else in an effort to reduce our family's sodium intake. This pie went above and beyond our expectations. This is a keeper and I can honestly say I'll never go back to the canned cream soup shortcut.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
This was great. I left out the nuts and added streusel topping the second time. This loaf stays moist for many days and seems to get better the longer it sits.

This is a great pie but very sweet and has the potential to become runny.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
This was very yummy and everybody raved. I only gave it 4 stars because I did make some changes to the original. It was a little too thick so I added a soup can of water to thin it out and a can of mushrooms. I prepared the chicken exactly as directed and it was fabulous. Served with a side of veggies it's the perfect meal.

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Sep. 2, 2008
I made this recipe exactly as listed. My family tried one bite and refused to have any more. I think if the mustard was left out it may be a little easier to ingest.

Cabbage Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
I really liked the idea of adding cabbage and that part was great, my family didn't notice at all, but that was probably because they were so turned off by the sauce it was too sweet and sour. It was terrible! I will continue to add cabbage to my sloppy joes but the sauce will not be repeated. Thanks for the awsome way to hide some extra veggies for my picky meat n' potato eaters

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2007
This was sooooo yummy. My family who was wary about having quiche ate it all up. The only thing I did differenly from the original recipe was to omit the butter and just sautee the the onions and garlic in a pan sprayed iwth pam.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2007
YUMMY! My whole family loved it. This soup was easy and I really liked that it heated well with the cream sauce added and didn't curdel. For the people whi thought that the soup was too thin I would suggest cooking the cream sauce longer before it is added to the broth because the longer it cooks separately the thicker it will get.

Slow-Cooker Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
This style of making ribs was great, and I amke ribs a lot. I have two slow cookers so I made two huge batches. We ate one and froze the other. We recently had last minute company and the frozen batch made a stellar quick, easy and impressive meal in a flash. All of our guests raved, and all I had to do was put the ribs on the bbq for a few minutes to thaw and warm through.

These yummy spicey cookies were all gone in under 2 hours and my family and been relentlessly begging me everyday to make more. The only change I made was to sub dried cranberries for the rasins as was all out.

P B and J Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2007
These were o.k. My family ate them and said they were good however they did not eat them with the same zeal as all my other baking. I also found there very fussy to make and had to clean my oven after. Not Fun! I would suggest that when making them reduce the amount of jam filling the the center and stretch out the batter to make 14 -16 muffins as they really rise and overflowed the pan and the filling oozed out too.
