Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

This was very good. I had a giant bag of potatoes and have been trying to use them up so I made my own cubed hash browns, it can out wonderfully. Next time I will try the frozen hash browns to save a whole lot of time, and maybe some onion.

Oven Kalua Pork

I salt and pepper the pork, put it on the grill and brown all sides then put it in the pan with water to get the smokey flavor.

Mexican Rice II

I don't know what I did right but this came out PERFECT and I can never get rice to cook up fluffy and PERFECT. I used medium heat I didn't let the rice get to brown stirred it often and poured all the stuff in crossed my fingers and PERFECT rice happened, THANK YOU for this great recipe.

No rising, no punching, quick and easy for when you need quick and easy dough! Five stars for the simplicity and no hassel of this dough. It's not gourmet but we don't always have time for that.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

I Love You, I Love this cookie, I could cry because it is that good. Perfectly chewy. I did put in some chopped walnuts and a handful of these caramel baking pieces but I will use this recipes over and over and over again. Thank You!

Apple Sheet Cake

I hate apple pie and I hate most cake BUT THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER. Its easy, everything came out perfect; the apples, the icing and the most perfect dough for the crust. I do have a kitchen aid to do all my mixing and whipping. Thank you Thank you for sharing this recipe.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Get a good quality ravioli, one that you like cooked if it is meat or cheese or any flavor you are going to toast, a poor quality ravioli is only going to taste worst fried. If you don't follow the recipe expect it to be bad just use common sense. I thawed the ravioli overnight in the fridge, patted any moisture off of them and dredged them in flour then in egg mixture then in breadcrumbs. I did this to make sure the breading would stick. I thought these were great.

Zucchini Brownies

This was very good, I did not use a 9x13 and I wish I had, I used a large round cake pan and that is pretty much what I got was a chocolate cake. Don't get me wrong a very good chocolate cake but not the dense or chewy brownie I was looking for. The mixture before adding the zucchini looked like sand but after adding the zucchini the batter looked correct. I will try this again with the pan and spread it thin since it baked up quiet a bit. I'm sure that will make it much more like a brownie. Thank you for a wonderful recipe, I will make this over and over and follow the recipe as its written.

Peppy's Pita Bread

This was excellent, I do not have a bread machine and followed the advice of other reviews. I foamed the yeast and used my kitchen aide to do the kneading. I used half whole wheat flour and half bread flour, I also added flax seed and wheat germ which gave it a beautiful color and texture. The pita bread comes out perfect everytime and makes perfect pockets. I also do not have a cake rack just a wire cooling rack which worked well over the oven rack. I have never had store bought pita bread and with this recipe I never will. Thank you so much!

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

These were fantastic, sweet but not overpowering, soft but not mushy, a lovely bread texture. I did change the recipe to brown sugar and exchanged the all purpose flour for equal amounts of whole wheat flour and bread flour. I forgot to soften the butter so I had to whip it with a fork and just spread it on with my hands the best I could and wasn't able to use all the butter, this caused a lot of the cinnamon sugar mixture to be absorbed into the bread, so next time I will definitly soften the butter. I will make this again, very easy, very good, almost store bought quality. Better than the clone of cinnabon and those others that are putting pudding mix into the bread.

Authentic Chinese Egg Rolls (from a Chinese person)

These were great, thank you for this recipe. I used ground meat instead of pork and left out the mushroom because I only had ground meat and no mushrooms. However, if you do not follow the recipe and it comes out bad do not blame the recipe. If you want baked egg rolls look for baked egg rolls recipe, egg rolls are fried. If you don't fry the wrapper its not going to taste good. Fry in hot(not warm) oil to fry or your egg roll will be greasy.

Monte Cristo Sandwich - the Real One

Yes. That is pretty much the one you get at Bennigans. Excellent. I used a deep fryer and followed the recipe. This is a deep fryed sandwich severed with jelly and powdered sugar. It is going to be high in calories. Its a once a year food but really great.
