Urban Legend Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2005
I was very impressed with these cookies, ususally the first time I make something I think of ways to twik the recipe, they are awesome as is. For myself they came out piled high, I drop the dough on the sheet, cruchy outside and soft inside. Very rich flavor.

Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2005
This was a very easy recipe to follow, I wish I had read more of the reviews, because it was VERY OVERPOWERINGLY SWEET. I couldn't eat it. I can definitley see the potential in this recipe if the sugar is reduced. Execellent directions though.

My Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2005
This is a good cookie! Not too sweet, I used white and semi sweet chips, with walnuts. I cut the recipe in half, and used half the cream of tarter, and salt, but Lord help me this was a good cookie. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

No Fail Pie Crust III

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
I was really really skeptical of this dough, cause I had the same problem, it was way too sticky. But after I put it in the fridge for 24 hours and rolled it out with flour. It was perfect, everyone loved the crust,I made it with the sauteed apples on this site.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2005
This was very good. I had a giant bag of potatoes and have been trying to use them up so I made my own cubed hash browns, it can out wonderfully. Next time I will try the frozen hash browns to save a whole lot of time, and maybe some onion.

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2005
I woke up in the middle of the night and wanted a chewy pb cookie that could rip my teeth out or at least crispy chewy and this IS NOT it. A fat puffy cookie that encases the chocolate chips as if its rejecting them. I tried smashing them down and baking them longer, fail, I smashing them down as they rose baking, fail, I tried cooking them at 325 degrees and made them smaller and got close but was already sick from eating parts of the rejects. This cookie needs: to melt the peanut butter and butter together, only 1 tsp. of baking soda, no more than 2 c. flour and MOST IMPORTANTLY needs to be cooked at 325 degrees for 15-18 mins and cooled on pan for 5 mins. The dough should be sticky, patted down, it should spread flat, puff a little when baking and collapse when cooling. That goes for most any chewy cookie but I went against my better judgement and now I have a stomach ache and no more brown sugar or pb to make good batch. O the agony!
