Italian Dressing Mix

This was phenomenal, I used 1/4c. of balsamic vinegar, 2/3 c. of olive oil, omitted the salt and used Splenda instead of sugar. It was a huge hit at a dinner party.

Oven Kalua Pork

I salt and pepper the pork, put it on the grill and brown all sides then put it in the pan with water to get the smokey flavor.

Baker's Secret Pie Crust

that was a lot of prep for burnt pie crust, either 425 or 50 mins is too long or too hot. After a second look and letting it cool down it seems as though just the edge burned which I know is highly preventable still maybe 45 min or 400 would be better.

I could eat this before it even bakes it tastes amazing. I use 4TBS of cornstarch it comes out very good but I am in high altitude.

The vinegar and soy sauce was overwhelming I would half the vinegar and use rice vinegar, then add the soy sauce as desired. Salty and sour as is.

Gramma's Date Squares

yes 10 stars indeed. although I did use cranberries and followed the advice of other reviews for the crispier crust, these bars only lasted a day and a half in our house. It is like something from starbucks. Bravo Gramma.

Chunky Potato Soup

Amazing! I didn't alter the recipe but had add a little more broth to cover the potatoes, didn't have any celery so I had to substitute w/celery salt and used cheddar since I didn't have Swiss cheese but the recipe is still phenomenal! Perfection and room to play!

Cream Cheese Frosting I

So much better than I anticipated not too sweet and not too cheesy or tangy. I did follow the advice of Adagio and Karen Buzzi and it was perrrfect. I colored it pink and frosted a strawberry cake with it and was able to make a perfectly smooth cake after it made its "crust".
