Grilled Radishes

I tried this as the recipe is written. It was super yummy. It doesn't taste the way you expect it too. It does taste more like cooked cabbage. I will be making this again.

Turkey in a Bag

really easy. This was very good. I must say, you really need to add paprika for the coloring. It adds so much color, which it really needs.

Buttery Corn Bread

awesome!! I don't have access to cornmeal here in Sweden, so I used corn flour. I used 3 cups corn flour and 1 cup regular flour and it turned out wonderful!!

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

I have made this now 2 times. It is fantastic and so easy. I did double the stock and butter, plus use fresh herbs, doubling them. I highly recommend this.

Bacon Cabbage Stir-Fry

Really good! It has such a German taste to it. I did add extra mustard and keep the rest of the recipe the same. I will make this more often since it is so simple and yummy.

I love this salad!! I made it with raspberries the first time and it was delicious!! I decided to try it again today with strawberries, and it taste just as good. Maybe a little lighter on the berry taste, but a keeper all the same. I did use red wine vinegar instead of the apple cider when making with the strawberries. This is going to be my staple raspberry vinaigrette from now on.

Country Style Fried Potatoes

I microwaved the potatoes for 3 minutes before frying. I fried bacon and then set aside the bacon for use later on. I used the bacon fat instead of the shortening to fry the potatoes until golden brown, adding onion and garlic powder. I added the bacon and chopped rosemary, salt and pepper. My husband was eating it out the pan.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

these were tasty and yet very simple. They held up really well after baking, and I would use this again. My only complaint is that it lacked some depth, but then again, it was easy to handle and make.

this was ok. I think that I will try it next time with the powered sugar instead of the regular sugar. It lacked something. My mother use to make these for us when I was a little girl.
