Unlike other reviewers, I did not use broth instead of water(1 can) since I didn't want the extra salt. I shredded the chicken at the 4 hour point. I added a sprinkling of mixed veggies so I wouldn't feel so guilty nutrition wise. I did do a sprinkle of flour since it seemed thin, but after dishing up, don't think that step may have been necessary. I added one 16 oz can generic biscuits 1.5 hours before dishing up and they were cooked through. Recipe is good as is, but next time I may add a couple things and make it more similar to its relatives- chicken pot pie, or chicken noodle soup. Needs... celery? Carrots? Thyme? Oregano? Bay leaf?
