Whole Egg Mayonnaise

I just made this....after thinking that nothing could taste as good as BestFood Mayo, this recipe changed my mind. I did use meyer lemon juice instead of the white vinegar, though...used extra light olive oil and also added a bit more salt. I also used my stick blender and put the ingredients into a wide mouth quart jar. Was amazed at how quickly a great tasting mayo was made. I may not buy commercial mayo again. We are trying to stay away from soy, so thank heaven for homemade mayo recipes. I'll try different oils in the future, too. Thank you for sharing your recipe!!!

Amish White Bread (healthier)

I love this bread! Have made this several times, now. However, I have made some changes due to personal preferences. Lowered the amount of sugar to 1/2 cup... may end up lowering it even more. I also used 2 cups of whole wheat flour and 4 cups of unbleached flour. This last time, (today 12/8/11) I used virgin coconut oil instead of the vegetable oil. Bread was very good! We like a more dense bread, so this recipe fits our family to a tee! Thank you for sharing!

Rolled Dumplings

Garlic Prime Rib

This was a great recipe!! 5 stars in my book!!! I made this for my hubby on Father's Day. The roast was a big hit!!!! Thank you, Chef Mike, for sharing it with everyone. I had a 5lb roast, so made half of the rub, adding some fresh rosemary to it. Smelled wonderful! The two things I changed in the recipe was to heat up the oven to only 450 degrees F instead of the 500 degrees F, and took roast out of oven at an internal temp of 133 degrees F. By the time we ate, it was up to about 136 degrees F and was very tasty and tender. I think the next time we have a special roast like this, I will insert some garlic into the actual meat part. Thanks to Chef Mike and all those who gave reviews. I so appreciate the honest reviews of the actual recipe, instead of changing it to where what was made is really not the recipe on Allrecipes. Hope that made sense. I just love Allrecipes!!!!

Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef

I leave out the green pepper, as others have said, too. They don't like me and I don't the flavor of them anyway. Green peppers seem to take over the flavor of anything they are in. Great recipe otherwise. Thanks for sharing, Hank's Mom!

Banana Crumb Muffins

These were wonderful, but the topping didn't stay on the muffing very well during baking...it' melted and slid off... Taste was great and very moist. I may try some variations as suggested in some of the reviews. But waiting for the heat of summer to pass!I'll try a couple of the variations as suggested by some of the reviews then too! :)

Chris's Incredible Italian Turkey Meatloaf

I made this recipe, with a couple changes for personal tastes, a few days ago. It was yummy! Both my husband and son loved it. We made scrumptious meatloaf sandwiches for dinner last night. The changes I made were to use onion soup mix instead of the onion and salt, and to use bbq sauce for the topping. Thanks for this recipe. It will become a standard in our house.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

These are wonderfully light and melt-in-your-mouth yummy!!! I made two batches of these today, using homemade raspberry freezer jam and marachino cherries in the thumb print. Thank you for this recipe. The taste is buttery and so good! Very easy to make. I didn't change the recipe at all, well... except for the cherries. These may work with kisses or rolos in the center too. I'll have to try that. Again, wonderful shortbread cookie recipe. We will enjoy it for years to come

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

WONDERFUL bread! I love pumpkin and cranberries. They are sooooo good together. This is a great recipe!! I did, however, alter it somewhat. I replaced the white sugar with 2 cups of brown sugar,used butter instead of oil, added 2 cups of cranberries and 1 cup of walnuts. This recipe, with the changes, will be a standard in our home from now on.Thanks for having this recipe on Allrecipes. My most favorite website for recipes and ideas. :)

Fish Tacos

This was a fantastic recipe! Husband loved it! He asks for fish tacos all the time now. I went and bought a 10lb box of cod, just to have around, so we can make these when ever we want. Good fish is hard to find in Montana. I made quac. to put on the tacos and used Pace Picante' sauce as well. We have also made soft shell tacos instead of the corn tortillas and they are wonderful as a change of pace. The sauce is great too! Thanks for this recipe!!!

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Great recipe. I made the crab stuffing and used portabello mushrooms to stuff. Baked in oven at 350 for about 30 minutes. One addition to the stuffing mixture: cayenne pepper. It added some zing. Thanks for this recipe. I enjoyed it very much.
