Halibut Provencale

I enjoy this recipe with tilapia also. It is easy & I keep most of the ingredients on hand all the time. Even my friends who do not like most fish enjoy this. Thank you for the easy & healthy recipe! The only thing I change is that I skip the olives and sub in panko for the breadcrumbs, simply b/c that is what I keep on hand.

Lemon Cupcake with Blackberry Buttercream

These are amazing. I made these for Easter and everyone said they were the best cupcakes they'd ever eaten. I only gave this recipe four stars not for ingredients, but for yield. I used regular muffin pans and the recipe only made 19 small cupcakes - I was wondering what they would rise like or I could've made 12. That being said, the frosting recipe makes enough for 3 times what you need...so next time I make this (which will be often!) I will double the cake recipe and half the frosting recipe. The frosting seems too sweet on its own, but don't be fooled - once you put it on a lemon cupcake the flavors balance perfectly! I also added fresh blackberries on top for a pretty garnish to the cupcake.

Fresh Herb Dinner Rolls

These rolls were more work chopping the herbs and were very pretty, but I was disappointed in the plain flavor. They also did not rise very well.

Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

This was wonderful! I am trying to incorporate more whole grains into my diet, and my husband and I both agreed this was better than any mix we've ever bought! We loved them. I used frozen blueberries instead of fresh and olive oil instead of vegetable, but other than that left the recipe alone. Thank you for such a great recipe! These are now my go to blueberry muffins!

Ham and Beans

Update! I still make this using all the ingredients, but I just wanted to say this meal has become as traditional as the ham holidays! A few days after Easter or Christmas, everyone always comes back over for ham & beans because of this recipe! Everyone loves it. I pair it with jalapeno cornbread. I use all the ingredients but I use the leftover ham bone from the Christmas ham with meat still attached to it. Then I just throw everything in a crockpot and cook it on low 8-10 hours. It is amazing. The sugar & cayenne pepper really make this recipe special.

Honey Wheat Sandwich Rolls

I made these for Thanksgiving. They were a huge hit. I didn't roll them out, I just broke them into 12 pieces and let them rise in a 9X13 dish & then baked them. Wonderful. I just used normal yeast, but I do that for all my bread machine recipes. Thank you for a great recipe!

Chicken and Corn Chili

I give this recipe 5 stars because I have been making it for almost 10 years now & have only made minor tweaks. It is tasty, easily editable, can easily feed more if you have surprise guests (just add more beans & corn, no one really notices) and takes about 5 minutes to make. What is not to like? I have made these changes over the years - the night before I follow the recipe and I add a can of rotel, and few splashes of hot sauce. Day of I cook it up but just throw in a bag of frozen corn & a can of beans; I find you don't need mexican corn if you use the rotel, and I almost always have everything on hand except mexi-corn. Thank you Sarah Jane for a great recipe!

Diana's Hawaiian Bread Rolls

These rolls were amazing. AMAZING. I don't use dried milk powder, so I used warm milk instead of the water & skipped the molasses in favor of 2 T honey. I used real butter also. I try not to use chemicals when I cook. It was hard not to eat the entire pan of rolls when they came out.

World's Best Lasagna

This had too much salt for me or it would've been 5 stars. It has two kinds of meat, 3 kinds of cheese...what's not to love? Next time I make it I will cut the salt down by about 1/3 - 1/2 though. My guests enjoyed it.

Tomato Basil Salad

This was a great salad. I have a lot of fresh tomatoes coming out of the garden so I was looking for new stuff to do. I chopped the tomatoes in half & then cut thin slices & chopped the onion into bitesize pieces. It was fabulous. I made it & it was gone! Everyone went back for seconds (and thirds!)

Serbian Ground Beef, Veggie, and Potato Bake

This recipe takes awhile to prepare, but is well worth it. My husband & I love it, and it smells wonderful while it is cooking!
