Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Reviewed: May 15, 2008
Excellent recipe. I did follow other reviewers advice to repeat the egg and crumb dips and I think it made the coating much thicker (which I personally like). I also seasoned the meat with salt and pepper. Tasty and the chops were very moist.

Oriental Shrimp Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
This is a great soup, fantastic on cold nights. Since there are only two of us, I place our servings in a smaller pot and cook the noodles only for those portions... keeps the noodles from turning mushy in the leftovers.

Sweet and Spicy Green Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2007
Great side dish. I had no problems with the saltiness and there was just a good amount of spiciness for me. Quick and tasty.

Grilled Cilantro Salmon

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
This marinade gives a subtle sweetness and herb flavor without overpowering the salmon. Very easy and quick, this recipe is great for summer evenings.

Key Lime Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
A tart and tasty pie that impressed my father-in-law who currently resides in Fl. I made one small change using a pastry crust instead of graham crackers which worked just fine (bake crust first). Overall an excellent recipe.

Naan

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
Awesome naan. I cook it on our foreman grill (didn't have anything else for a time). For those of us using bottled yeast 1 package equals 2 1/4 teaspoons. The garlic is a great addition and doesn't overpower the naan.

Burmese Chicken Curry (Gaeng Gai Bama)

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2006
Very good recipe. I only used 4 shallots and I didn't fry them up crispy. Added the browned shallots and cilantro in last 5 minutes of cooking. I will definitely make this again but next time I will add salt to taste (seemed to be missing it even with the fish sauce) and might top with some toasted peanuts.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies III

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
I made this recipe without the almond extract (doubled the vanilla) and they were delicious. I found these cookies to be quite sweet with the amount of sugar called for and wouldn't add any more.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
I only gave this recipe three stars because it took a lot of adjusting. I brought the salt down to 1 teaspoon each for the sauce and marinade. In addition I halved the cayenne and cumin because I found it was too hot. Otherwise this is great with naan bread. I tend to cut back on the chicken because it's expensive but that means there's plenty of sauce.

Spicy Chicken Thai Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
I found this soup a little too spicy for my taste, but I will try it again with the spices cut back. Instead of adding the noodles to the slow cooker I placed some soup in a pot and cooked them separately, this makes the leftovers much better (noodles don't turn to mush).

Curry-Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2007
I thought this was missing something, but I couldn't put my finger on it. The cornstarch gave it an odd texture. Rather than work on modifications I will try other recipes.
