Apple Pork Chop Skillet

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2007
Added a little wine to the juice, used cornbread flavored Stove Top, partially peeled the apple, and seasoned the meat with brown sugar, seasoning salt, and a pinch of chili powder and all the taste cooked off. Need to find a way to make the pork have more taste! The stuffing mixture was excellent.

Mrs. Strong's Casserole

I liked this a lot. I think the meat need more seasoning. I used seasoning salt. I also added a tad of milk to the cream mixture and used neufchatel instead of cream cheese.

Used all dry spices because I hate fresh parsley. Did not use foil packet method.

Loosemeat Sandwiches I

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2007
Very very good! But the recipe needs pepper (lots) and more seasoning salt. I hope this is as good as the ones at the Lunchbox on Roseanne because they would surely do well. AWESOME

Blue Cheese Burgers

Needed more meat, added an egg and bread crumbs to stretch the recipe. Otherwise, this was pretty good. Can't wait to try on a real grill as opposed to the George Foreman!

Didn't use the garlic mayo and added a few other veggies and some fresh mozzerella...it was to die for. I love the squash!

Jay's Jerk Chicken

Reviewed: May 30, 2007
We had to wash off the chicken and start over. Too much thyme and I used less than the recipe said. Did not have the problem of too much of a soy sauce taste. Will not try again.

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

Reviewed: May 30, 2007
Have wanted to try this one for a long time now. Excellent results. Used extra lean turkey and extra goat cheese. Chose a cheese flavored with thyme and red pepper (already crumbled). Added one egg and about 1/3 to 1/2 a cup of seasoned bread crumbs as per other reviews. Also added some dried basil and garlic powder. To half the mixture I added the spinach but the BF isn't a fan so I made his with a little chipotle tabasco sauce in the mix and sprinkled the outside with seasoning salt (which he loves). He ate his plain on a grilled kaiser roll and loved it. I ate mine with a little chipotle mayo (not necessary) and carmelized onions...no bun. I loved mine as well. The fat content in the meat was so low we didn't need to wash the fat tray from our George Forman (we don't have a grill). Outstanding!

This was very nice...made for weight watchers so cut back on the oil a bit. Very tasty the pork didn't get too flavorful though. Served over orzo. Yum!
