Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
mmmmm...yummy. I used 2 cans of artichokes, 1 whole cup of parmesan, and 1 whole cup mayo. Cut the chicken breast halves into smaller pieces so they get flavored a little better. Husband and Kids loved it!

Custard Pie III

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
Great tasting and very easy to make. Recipe made enough for me to use in two pie shells I needed to use up. Baked in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes and noticed shells were getting dark, so I turned down the temp to 325 and finished baking for about 15 more minutes.

Double Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
This is very chocolatey and a bit tasty, but not anything like the fudge my mom used to make when I was a kid. It just tastes like melted chocolate chips, and I was looking for something else.

Lance's French Onion Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2008
Excellent Recipe! I always double the recipe using sweet vidalia onions...usually about 5 large ones. I don't care much for the flavor of Swiss cheese, so I substitute with shredded mozzarella. My whole family loves this soup!

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2006
Great recipe! Instead of using cream of mushroom, I used cream of chicken soup and following another reviewer's suggestion, I also added a package of taco seasoning to the sauce. Will definitely make again!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2006
Great recipe...my family loved it! I followed the recipe exactly, except that I sprinkled paprika all over the fillets before baking and I covered the baking dish with foil. I will definitely make this again!

Creamy Fruit Salad III

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2005
When I put this together it was a bit runny, so I added half a bag of shredded coconut to thicken it up a bit. The taste is okay, but the appearance is not very appetizing. I took this to a potluck Christmas party and not many people even tried it. Maybe some added fruit garnishes or something pretty sprinkled over the top might make it look more enticing.

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2005
MMMMMM!!! These are so good! I doubled the amount of chocolate chips and skipped the walnuts since we didn't have any. They were just a little salty though, so next time I make these, I'll only use 1/2 tsp. salt. I did forget to add the vanilla, but we didn't miss it, unless the missing vanilla accentuated the saltiness. The texture of these cookies is perfect, just the right amount of chewiness. Be sure to use an ungreased baking sheet...I missed that important little piece of information and my first batch came out thin when I sprayed the sheet with cooking spray.

Mini Meatloaves

Excellent recipe! The whole family loved it. I doubled the recipe for our family of 6 and had only 4 small loaves left over. Tomorrow we'll make sanwiches with what was left! Thanks!

Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
Excellent recipe. I followed the advice of other reviewers and used a can of chicken broth instead of the water and eliminated the boullion granules. I didn't have any thyme, but no one noticed a lack in flavor as a result. I accidentally overly browned the butter when I was cooking the onion in it, so my filling was a darker color than it should have been. Even with the butter mishap, my family loved this recipe and we will definitely use it again!

Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
Great recipe! So simple and easy...I used frozen chicken tenders and ham I bought that was already diced. I didn't have any white wine, so I substituted milk. The whole family loved it and we will definitely make this again and again.

Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2005
After reading the reviews that said this recipe is too soupy I adjusted the milk. Instead of using a quart of milk, I used 1 (12 oz.) can of evaporated milk and 1/2 cup of 2% milk. The pudding came out thick and creamy. I do disagree with those who say it is too sweet...I think it would taste better with a little bit more sugar, but I have a HUGE sweet tooth!
