Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Love this, make it often. I use fresh garlic and sliced onion and bell pepper. Also like to add peppercini.

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Made these for Thanksgiving this yr. My goal was to do as little cooking on Thurs. as possible, so I made these ahead of time, put into slow cooker with a liner(after step 2). and froze in crock pan (after a few hrs. took pan out of freezer so potatoes were frozen to fit in crock) Thursday morning I put potatoes w/liner in pot and plugged it in, then forgot about it, till serving time. No need to add milk or pam or anything. The family loved them.

Yummy Yam and Pineapple Casserole

great change from boring mashed and you still get the marshmallows. It was a sure hit on thanksgiving. I made it Tues. covered the pan and kept in frig. This recipe will become a staple for our Turkey Day meal. Thanks Sal

Apple Brine for Turkey the Night Before Cooking

The turkey was very juicy. But we make our gravy from the dripping. Even though I rinsed the bird it was still full of SALTY liquid we had to pour off during the roasting. The resulting gravy was way too salty. For that reason alone I won't try this again.
