Ground Beef 'n' Biscuits

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2008
This was just okay. We weren't wowed by it, but then again we weren't really expecting to be. It was edible, but after a few bites was a bit boring. It reminded us of tatter tot casserole. Not great, but easy.

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2008
This was REALLY good. I forgot to defrost something for dinner and all I had were chicken legs and thighs. I literally threw them in the slow cooker completely frozen and added the remaining ingredients plus whole garlic and cooked it on high for about 6 hours. The result was fantastic! The chicken fell off the bone and was so moist. The sauce made an excellent gravy that we used over mashed potatoes. My husband and our 4 year old loved it! Will definitely and make again

Chunky Bacon and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
Very good recipe. I would definitely drain most of the bacon grease as recommended in other reviews. I used onions instead of leaks, added celery, cream of celery soup, and doubled the bacon. It turned out really good; my kids and husband (he's the soup connoisseur) LOVED it! :o)

Shortbread Cookies II

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2008
The first time I tried this recipe I used margarine to cut fat (since it calls for TONS of butter). The cookies tasted like flour so I decided to try again using real butter. WOW! What a difference. 100% better! I made balls, pressed and put a chocolate kiss in the middle of some and strawberry preserves in the middle of others. AWESOME!

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
I was looking for something that would take me no more than 40 min. or so to make. This was both very good and very easy. I also made a gravy out of the butter and drippings, adding a can of chicken broth and flour to thicken and it was great over homemade mashed potatoes with a side of corn. Will make again!

Easiest Eggplant

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2006
This definitely was easy and so good! The breadcrumbs came out crunchy and the mayo made the eggplant flavorful and juicy. I topped mine with melted mozzarella. VERY good! Perfect as a side with any Italian dish. It didn't reheat very well though (just gives us an excuse to eat it all the night I make it!).
