Edible Spiders

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2006
These treats were great. I didn't use the bag or the butter. Instead I used shortening with semi-sweet & butterscotch chips, which gave a great finish to the spiders. Definitely enjoyed by all.

very yummy, but the recipe makes many more candies than it says it does. one batch made more than 3 dozen pieces!

This recipe turned out wonderfully! I added carrots, celery, chicken boullion, and 1 1/2 cups of vegetable broth and it was just perfect! I will definitely make this again!

This did not turn out well at all. It was entirely liquidy...everywhere.

Stained Glass Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
Wow. I don't know what I did wrong, but the batter had the consistency of soup when it finished chilling. I ended up putting in extra flour and just making ginger cookies. They turned out great, though!

This was marvelous. A friend of mine told me that her grandmother used to make this when she was little and she adored this recipe!

Shepherd's Pie V

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2006
This recipe turned out very well, but was also VERY salty. Next time, I probably won't use the salt or the steak seasoning, but otherwise this recipe is very good.

Dad's Steak Rub

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2006
This recipe was amazing! The combination of sweet & spicy was just right for the pallette. I used italian seasoning instead of allspice, but the taste was still great. I will probably cut back on the pepper next time, because it was a bit too spicy .

This dish was amazing! I'm usually kind of leery about breaded meats, but this was definitely an exception! Wonderful!

This dessert is great, as long as you don't mind having a crust that crumbles. Everyone loved this one!

the taste was okay, but the soup was REALLY watery. Probably not worth the remake.

Very rich, but everyone loved it & ate it anyway. I used half vanilla and half banana pudding mix and that turned out great.

Tiger Butter

OH MY GOD! Yummy! It's the Crunch bar I never had as a child. I was able to use butter instead of the wax paper and the candy still turned out fine.

Yum! The only change I made was to use half of the peanuts specified and replace the rest with dried banana chips. They turned out amazingly well.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
These bars had just the right amount of sweetness and there was plenty of dough for the bottom. My boyfriend ate 7 of these without even blinking! I will definitely be making these again.

Garlic and Olive Oil

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
The dressing wasn't bad, but for some reason the tastes of the lemon and the garlic didn't mix. Each bite was either too much lemon or too much garlic. Weird for my taste buds.
