About this Cook
Hey! I am a high school senior, and I love to cook. It used to be, that I only liked to bake...mostly because I loved the cookies I would make. When my parents made it a rule that both me and my brother would have to cook dinner one time a week, I was mad about it. I couldn't believe they were making me cook. Now, I am glad they did. I love to cook, and trying out new recipes. I am not quite up to making up my own yet, but am open to trying out new foods. With college coming up I know these cooking skills are going to come in handy.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pizza. It is easy, and all of my friends sure appreciate the end result! Also turkey mannicotti. This however, as I am a slow cook, takes me forever and is reserved only for special occasions. I am barely home during the week, and so on the night I have to cook I usually look for an easy recipe to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I don't know that I really have any. I make my mannicotti for special occasions... I also try to make pie for holidays. They are getting pretty good too.
My cooking triumphs
I don't know about this...I guess I have had meals that people like. I guess the favorite has to be manicotti.
My cooking tragedies
Every now and then I will leave out a major part of a recipe. One time I was making chocolate chip cookies, and I mixed up the flour and dry stuff first, and forgot to add it to the dough, so I ended up with a gooey mess. My best friend and I tried to salvage the mess, and had a great time doing it!

Husband's Delight
I guess this should be called Brother's Delight in my family. He couldn't get enough of it! I just added some italian seasonings to the meat, and put all of the noodles at the bottome layer. Yum!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
Mmmmm. I have tried to make Snickerdoodles several times over the years, but these are truly wonderful. They turned out great. I am known for making cookies that are mishapen and ugly but taste good. I made these and the taste great, and look great too!

Grandma's Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
These cookies were good! I am not the biggest fan of oatmeal raisin, but these were pretty good. Still not my favorite but good all the same.
