Steak Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2010
This soup was VERY good! I used vegetables that I had on hand. And instead of an entire 6 oz can of tomato paste, I used half a can of tomato sauce and a tablespoon of tomato sauce, cause it's what I had. It turned out fantastic!

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
This is the best bbq sauce! I have never added liquid smoke because I don't have it; it's fantastic! You can also make it with as much or as little heat as you like. It's delicious. I could almost drink it.

Boston Baked Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
These were delicious! I made them for an Easter brunch of 50 people. I made two batches, one in the oven like the recipe suggests, and one in the crock pot. The beans baked in the oven were of superior flavor, for sure! I doubled the recipe and it served 30 adults + 20 children. It makes a lot!

Cornbread Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
I, too have the original recipe of this. I usually use the Trader Joes cornbread mix. I was confused, though, the last time I went to make it. It must have been awhile. Do you other cooks who use it drain the regular canned corn? AND the recipe calls for a smaller box of cornbread than I typically use, so I can't remember if I typically double the rest or not. I guess no-one can help me with that one...oh well...wish I could remember, it's so yummy!

Dijon Crusted Halibut

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2005
This was so good! I only used 1 tsp. of horseradish to be a bit more kid friendly. My daughter said mmm, this halibut is good! And she was right, will definitely make again!
