Taco Salad II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
I have been making this recipe for years. It is always a crowd favorite, and I usually never walk away with any leftovers. I always use crushed doritos though, and pending on the size of the crowd, I will usually double recipe. I also use Catalina dressing instead of French, use sharp cheddar cheese, don't use peppers, and I also put in sliced black olives. Always remember, if you are bringingthis to a function, don't put the dressing on until right before you serve, or it will be a soggy mess.

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2007
Who would have thought that pouring a can of pop (I used pepsi) would make such tender pot roast. I cooked in the slow cooker on low for 8 hours. The only thing I will change for next time is that I think I will add a few more spices as it didn't have enough flavor for me. Hubby had me pack the leftovers for him to take to work to share with his buddies the next day. That tells me this one is a keeper.

Hubby and co-workers came home for dinner again (oh joy)! What a simple and great tasting potato. They gobbled them up. I was able to stick them in the oven and concentrate on other things, I will definately make again!!

Baked Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2007
I was pleasantly suprised. Turned out very light and fluffy, as well as tasty! My daughter won't eat mashed potatos without gravy, so I tried both with and without gravy, great both ways, but Ithink I prefered with gravy.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2007
YUMMY! I put the flour, salt, pepper and oregano in a bag, and then put the chicken in to coat. I cut the amount of butter and oil in half. After chicken was browned, I took out and put in casserole dish, put the mushrooms, wines(doubled the amount of wines), some garlic, chicken broth, and cornstarch (to thicken the sauce a little)simmered in the pan for about 5 minutes, the poured on top of chicken. Covered it then put it in the oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Served on top of angel hair spagetti....soooooooo good!

Creamy Dilled Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
Sorry, although it was easy to make, and smelled very good, it didn't turn out too good. I had to cook longer then directed, and the rolls were half cooked, half mush, and the chicken was a little dry. The sauce was great though, I will give you that.

Was just ok for me. Kids picked at it, barely ate any of it. I think because it had a very strange smell, and it looked pretty nasty. Will not make again. Sorry.

Cream Cheese Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2006
These were sooo easy to make, and soooo incredibly good. I took them to a party lasst night, and found myself hopeing no one else would like them so I could take the leftovers home with me. No such luck, they were the only dessert that was gobbled up. Guess I will have to make another to satisfy my craving. Would rate this one 10 stars if I could!!!

Very Good! Would cook a little longer next time. Did as others did, and stirred the bread for even coating. Also added a touch of cinnamin to the egg mixture.
