Garlic Chicken

Such a good recipe the way it is. I made these as a coating for chicken wings instead of on chicken breast. SO good. The coating forms nice crunchy outside so you don't have to deep fry the wings.

Halibut Supreme

I really enjoyed the idea of this recipe but I decided to tweak it a little per previous suggestions. I rubbed it down with seasonings/herbs first: salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Then I used half chedder cheese and parmesan. I also only used 1 heaping tbl sp of mayo and sour cream each (taking in mind I only had 1 large Halibut filet), and added a tsp of Siracha. This made the cream much less rich because I was forced to glaze the fish more than slathering it. Was also able to bake brussel sprouts and potatoes as the side dish at the same time because of how quickly the fish cooked.

Lemon Herbed Salmon

Great recipe. I did almost everything per recipe, except that I used olive oil instead of butter (it's healthier) and I squirted the salmon with lemon before sprinkling the breading on. It was really good and more interesting, yet just as simple as my usual way of baking salmon with butter and lemon.

Cheese Ravioli with Fresh Tomato and Artichoke Sauce

Made this for my boyfriend and his roommates. Everyone loved it and it was SOO easy. I just made some changes to the original recipe as suggested, substituting some of the roma tomatoes with italian seasoned diced tomatoes, and using some of the oil from the artichoke hearts.

Monster Cookies

Great recipe. I cut it in half because I didn't need that many cookies but they were so great I should have made the whole batch. The only thing is that I used regular oats because I didn't have the quick kind, still turned out great.

Peach Muffins

I thought this recipe was good. I cut back on the oil and did 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 white sugar. They were a little drier than I would prefer, so I will definitely add twice as many peaches, maybe some walnuts, and some apple sauce. Otherwise, a good recipe for how easy it is (and its just so easy) and so good with coffee.

Red Velvet Cake

I baked this cake for Valentine's Day and I first baked a tester batch and halved the recipe and it was PERFECT. But when I went to bake it for reals something went very wrong and they had such an odd taste. The only thing I can imagine going wrong was mixing it incorrectly. But the frosting was great. I thought it was kinda odd at first but it was so different and complimented the cake well (when I baked it correctly anyways)

Best Brownies

These were really great brownies. I don't even like chocolate much but these were still perfect. I could eat a million. My roommate said they weren't chocolaty enough so I doubled the recipe and added 1 cup of chocolate chips. They tasted great, and way more chocolatier.
