Peach Cobbler VI

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
This was nothing like I hoped it would be. The dough was just not right. If you are looking for a delicious southern peach cobbler, I would pass on this one. It is an ok recipe; just not real sweet or rich like my mom's cobbler.

Fruit Pizza

This recipe is amazing! We made this for my baby shower because I wanted something besides cake and everyone loved it. We topped it with strawberries, blueberries, bananas, nectarines, and slices of pineapple. Nothing needs altered with this recipe unless you make the dough thicker, in which case, cook just a little longer.

Roasted Pork Loin

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
This recipe turned out awful. That is unless you like the taste of hay!!! It took far longer to reach temp than stated, the meat was dry, there was far too much rosemary, and the sauce was gross. I followed the recipe perfectly and even thought my husband and I aren't picky eaters, we couldn't stomache the taste! Sorry.

Chili Dog Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2006
I was skeptical about this recipe but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was delicious! Make sure you use a good chili like BUSHE'S. Cheaper canned chilis tend to make the dish watery and kind of bland. Children are sure to love this recipe.

Nacho Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2006
This meal was delicous. I had tons of 6 inch corn tortillas so I decided to fry them in oil to make my own chips for this recipe. It tasted so much better than nachos with regular tortilla chips. Fattening but worth it!

Hoagie Bake

Mmmmm...Mmmm...good! This dish was so delicous. I used low fat turkey pepperoni and added some black olives and a little jalapeno on one side. I had no problem with the bottom being soggy either. This is a must try. Super good with tomato soup!!!!

Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
This dish was delicious. I modified it slightly by making it doubled layered and adding a little salsa, black olives, cheddar cheese, and jalapenos in both layers. Cooking time was 30 minutes on the dot. I still can't believe how good it was.

Potato Salmon Patties

These were pretty good. I would suggest using a little less onion than the recipe calls for though. I like onions but there were just far too many. My husband thought these were ok even though he hates all sea food.

Easy Peachy Cobbler Bake

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2005
This was a pretty good cobbler though not as good as my mom's. Make sure to drain most of the syrup from the caned peaches or you'll end up with too much liquid and not enough peaches. Next time I try this recipe, I will use an extra can of peaches and only half the syrup from one of the cans.

These were delicous! I made them for company who had never even herd of artichokes and they loved them. Makes a great side dish to chicken.
