I didn't particularly like these, but my kids all did so I'll give this 4 stars. I did follow the recipe to the T.

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
I didn't think these were that great. No one complained about them, but no one raved about them either. I did add vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon but I still found them to be a bit bland.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This stuff is wonderful! So easy to make and you can add veggies to it also. I took the advice of some others and use chicken broth rather than water. YUMMY!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
My daughter loved this pie and she is a big pumpkin pie fan. I liked the fact that it was firm when going in the oven so it didn't spill out. Also, it came out looking beautiful.I followed the directions exactly.

These were pretty good, though I thought they would taste a bit more chocolatey. My kids liked them a lot!

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2007
I had to make these lowfat/lower calorie for my husband who is on a diet but craving cinnamon buns and I was leery about how they would come out. But wow!! Even with the changes they are so good. And my 16 year told me there is no way they are healthier, because they taste so fattening. I substituted egg beaters for the eggs, light butter spread for the regular stuff, Slenda sugar blends for regular sugar and brown sugar, and fat free cream cheese for the regular stuff. Other than making those changes, I followed the recipe. They are sooo yummy. And I don't feel so bad now eating them.

Best meatloaf I've ever had. I didn't find it too sweet, but one of my kids did. Still a keeper.

Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2006
Hubby absolutely loved it and had me make it twice in one week. It was very tasty. I made both the same exact way (followed the directions)but for some reason the second one was a little more runny.

Baked Spaghetti I

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2006
This was really good. Even my picky mom was impressed. I did make some changes though. No green peppers or mushrooms since my kids hate them. I added a 1/2 cup of sauce to the meat mixture and I put half cheddar and half mozzeralla for the cheese.

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2006
Very moist and yummy. I am not a big fan of pork roasts, but this came out great. And all my kids loved it, a huge deal in itself. I made it just like the recipe says and used the juice afterward to pour all over the pork. Um, um, good!

Cinnamon Apple Syrup

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2006
I followed the directions but the batch came out tasty way too strongly of cinnamon. My kids would not eat it after a few bites because the taste of the cinnamon was too overwhelming. I suggest using half the amount of cinnamon.

Mini Meatloaves

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2006
I thought this was only okay. Not the best meatloaf I have ever had, but my kids who are really picky liked it a lot. I found it somewhat difficult to form them into mini loaves. The mix is very loose. I followed the directions actually. Not sure if I would make it again.

This frosting is so good with the rum sugar cookies. I found I had to add a lot more water to get it thin enough to frost the cookies.

Rum Sugar Cookies

These cookies are VERY good. They have a unique taste. I had to make another batch after my husband found them and ate almost all of them. These were his favorite out of 6 different kinds of cookies I made for Christmas. I frost some of them with the rum frosting, but ethier way they are good.

Yummy! Easy to make. Not sure if I did something wrong, but I had some lumps of the confect. sugar that was impossible to get rid of. But they are few and far between.
