Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 15, 2005
I love this recipe and get rave reviews from family and friends, in fact they demand I make it :P The only thing i do differently is use ripe bananas, not overripe, the one time i made it with overripe, family asked me why it didn't taste like bananas as much. Thanks for this classic :)

Broiled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2005
Awesome recipe, I hate to admit it but i did make some changes though, i followed others suggestion and cut the ketchup to 1/2 C. I also switched out the chili powder for cayenne and added some of my own seasonings like garlic salt and italien mix seasonings. I usually can't stand pork chops, but i couldn't stop picking at my husband's plate :D Thanks!

Tuna Noodle Casserole IV

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2005
I personally hate any fish, but with this casserole and plenty of extra cheese on top I can eat it :P My family loves this recipe but i do make a few minor changes. I use either mac or egg noodles depending on what i have and it works great either way, i use about 1/4 of the can of milk, and 2 cans of tuna. Also i season it with garlic and italian seasoning. Also since i usually have no croutons I use italian breadcrumbs and of course tons of cheese. Also I throw in frozen veggies when i cook the pasta and mix them in too. Yum :D

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2005
Excellent marinade for any cut of beef :D I used this for petite sirloin steaks and they came out perfectly. I marinaded them overnight and the flavor was wonderful but not over powering.

Cinnamon Raisin Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2006
WOW! YUMMY!! I usually don't like store raisin bread, the top always tastes to burnt for me, but this came out perfect! I used the suggestions of another person on cutting it in half, but keeping somethings the same, and it is absolutely wonderful. My first time making bread, and i am thrilled!

Barbecued Beef Ribs for Two

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
Excellent recipe for beef ribs. They came out super tender, although I did boil them for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I put what ever sauce on it I want and they turn out great. The cooking method is the best!

Spicy Italian Pork Cutlets

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2008
My husband LOVED it. I thought it was pretty good, and I hate pork chops. I did the canned Italian tomatos as suggested, and that was a nice addition with the spices. The only recommendation I make is to hold off on the pepper if you have kids that are going to eat it. Between the pepper and the garlic, it was too spicy for my 6 year old. Also I made the sauce first because it needed quite a bit more time to thicken up than the recipe said.

Ratatouille

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
I make as is, but mix up the squashes, you really can make it with any. Excellent flavor, it eats like a meal. I serve it over rice or pasta and that helps pick up the juice and flavor them. I saute my zucchini too though, so it gets soft and I know it will be done in time. Excellent for famer's market veggies in the fall.

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2011
I follow the recipe as written except that I added some coconut flakes during the cooking and sprinkled some on top. It brought out the flavor of the coconut. Excellent recipe!
