My cooking triumphs
I made the plum blueberry upside down cake off this site. Never tried anything like that before, but it turned out wonderfully :) I was so proud I could make something that looked so pretty and taste so good :) Oh yeah and i just made my first yeast bread. I made a cinnamon raisin swirled loaf and it turned out beautifully, now there isn't much out there that scares me :D
My cooking tragedies
Haven't really had many of those. I have had a few mess ups, but almost always can pull it together and save something out of it :D

Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies
Super yummy! Followed suggestion of 1c butter and 350 for oven temp. Perfect!

Keon's Slow Cooker Curry Chicken
I follow the recipe as written except that I added some coconut flakes during the cooking and sprinkled some on top. It brought out the flavor of the coconut. Excellent recipe!

Ratatouille
I make as is, but mix up the squashes, you really can make it with any. Excellent flavor, it eats like a meal. I serve it over rice or pasta and that helps pick up the juice and flavor them. I saute my zucchini too though, so it gets soft and I know it will be done in time. Excellent for famer's market veggies in the fall.
