Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2014
This recipe was the BEST I ever tried. However I did not use as much milk as it called for but did use almost double the butter. Some of the people wanted to know if this recipe could be made into a pie. mmmm might just give it a go

My Best Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2014
This truly was the best Clam chowder I ever put in my mouth. After reading the reviews, I will try adding the bacon and cooking all of it in the iron skillet. Don't know how this recipe can be improved but after reading some of the reviews, I will try cooking the bacon in the skillet and cooking the veggies in the drippings and adding the chopped bacon. ---- Barbara526

Barbecue Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2010
This was indeed the best barbecue sauce I ever tasted. I used Jack Daniels instead of the rum. You can buy the little bottles that hold about 2/3 cup. Panama Jack, move over....You met your match

Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2007
I used the conversion chart and doubled the recipe but only used 1/2 a stick of butter. I used 2 29 oz, cans of peaches cutting most of the peaches in 1/2 again. I sprinkled cinnamon on top along with brown sugar and white sugar. I baked it in a 9x13 pan at 400* for 30 min. Took it to the church supper and never had so many compliments on a peach cobbler. I think bringing the peaches to a boil and putting them on top of the batter right away has a lot to do with it. The best ever. I give this recipe 8 stars.

Rhubarb Custard Pie II

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2005
I made this pie to take to a church picnic. The kudoes I got....wow! One man said he had eaten rhubarb pie all his life and this recipe far surpassed any he had ever eaten and would I please share the recipe with his wife. I have to admit, I thought it was excellent too. However, I too mixed the rhubarb with the custard mixture before putting it in the pie crust.
