Carrot Souffle

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
This was okay. I thought it was way too sweet to be used as a side dish. I gave it 4 stars as I believe this would make a really nice pie.

Garlic Prime Rib

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2007
Oh boy oh boy!!! This is a keeper! As others have stated, you have to keep the faith during the initial 20 mins at 500 degrees as your oven does a bit of smoking and you're starting to wonder if you read the recipe wrong... hang in there!!! This is the BEST prime rib my family has ever eaten. So tender and so much flavor. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, it has become a family staple.

Pastitsio II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
This was really good. I'm giving it 4 stars for a couple of reasons. One, this is a pretty time consuming receipe. Also, I used a lot of pots! My family liked it, but said it was a little plain. They put Frank's Hot sauce on it and they gobbled it down. I will make again, but not one you want to make if you are running short on time.

Slow-Cooked German Short Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2007
This was really good. I had a lot of sauce so I served them with rice. I really liked this and so did my husband, a total rib man!!

Honey Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2007
These were great! My husband loved them and he usually only likes ribs on the bar-b-que. I used bone in pork spare ribs and they wouldn't fit in my slow cooker, so I cooked them in my cast iron dutch oven and they were PERFECT!! Thank you for sharing this recipe!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2007
This was GREAT!!! I wanted a Squash Soup and this filled the craving and then some! It was easy and inexpensive. I will make this again. I am starting WW and figured that I could actually use either reduced fat or fat free cream cheese (although I don't know about fat free as sometimes that has a funny flavor), and use minimal points. HIGHLY RECOMEND!!

Double Chili Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2006
I made this for my superbowl party and I just mixed this all together and it was GREAT!!! I kept in a "football" crock-pot and that kept it warm. Also, I used Velveeta instead of the cheddar cheese and it was really smooth. I thought I had regular chili, I didn't but I had vegetarian chili with beans, and it really was good. I served it with Fritos and it was the first thing to go!

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
These went so fast!!! My husband who is not a green olive fan tried them and then later in the evening he was complaining because he only got one!!! I was TOLD I will be making these for New Years as well. I will use regular green olives, but also, green olives stuffed with peppers, garlic and onions would be FAB!!!! Thank you!

Drunk Dogs

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
oh my gosh are these good!!! I used a 1/4 to 1/2 cup whiskey and they went so fast. I also put my sausage balls in the sauce. We had some leftover bacon from breakfast and my husband wrapped the little smokies with the cooked bacon and then put it in the sauce. Next time, I will make more bacon because YUM YUM

Cheesy Potato Gratin

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2005
This was the BEST!!! I followed the recipe with the exception of using the chicken bullion. I would not omit that next time (I just didn't have it on hand), as it needed the salt. But this will become a holiday staple.

This was so good. I topped it with some crushed crackers for a crunchy topping, but that was it... thank you for sharing.
