Fruit 'N' Nut Granola

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2007
I thought that the flavor of this granola was very good. However, after have made this granola I would wait and put the fruit in near the end or after the granola has come of the oven. My apricots were hard as a rock. I was glad I could find a granola that did not have to rely on honey. My children really liked it.

Ma Lipo's Apricot-Glazed Turkey with Roasted Onion and Shallot Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
This is a delicious recipe, I have made it every year since it came out in Bon Appetit cookbook. I don't know what the penalities are for plagerism on this site, but this is certainly not Ma Lipo's or Christine's recipe. Check it out for your self on Epicurious.com, it is called, "Apricot Glazed Turkey with Roastsed Onion and Shallot Gravy. Anyway, I don't think that Ma Lipo should get all the rave reviews because it isn't her recipe. I thought we were suppose to submit original recipes on this site....just a thought.

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2002
Wow! My husband loves chocolate and orange so I made these for him and he devoured them. They stay moist and chewy for days...if they last that long. A definite keeper to my cookie collection. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Frozen Sherbet Dessert

Reviewed: May 2, 2001
This is one of the most delicious desserts I have EVER tasted! From the first time we introduced it into our family it was a HIT, and has been the dessert of choice ever since. Don't be fooled by the simplicity of this recipe; it packs a lot of flavor and will quickly become one of YOUR favorites, too! Just make sure to serve it fairly frozen.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2000
This recipe was really good but I don't think it has reached it's full potential. I would recommend frying the bacon before cooking the chicken breasts. I think the dish would be more flavorful.

Chicken Tortilla Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2000
The first words out of my husband's mouth were 'wow'! This is a great recipe for people who love mexican food. I used half the oil and half the amount of chicken it called for and it was still wonderful!

Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2000
I found this recipe easy to make but was a little dissapointed with the overall taste. I doubled the amount of herbs and seasonings so that the flavor would come through. Submitter also forgot to include in her recipe that you will need at least 4 cups of chicken stock. Thank goodness I had it on hand half way through the recipe!
